chapter thirteen

I heard yelling and loud bangs. I covered my ears as Joey held onto me. I kept my eyes closed throughout the whole thing. I finally looked up and I saw two men being escorted into the police car.

"It's okay. We got them. We'll just need to ask a few more questions and then we'll be on our way." The cop said.

"Oh my god, Tayler." My mom cried as she ran out of her car and hugged Tayler.

"I'm fine, it's okay." Tayler said. Then she let go and came to hug me. I let go of Joey and held onto my mom.

"I'm so glad you're okay." She cried. Then she hugged Joey and thanked him for taking care of me.

The police left after a while of questioning and looking around the apartment. They told us to find somewhere else to stay for the night because it was now a crime scene, so my mom went to stay with my grandmother while me and Tayler stayed at Joey's apartment.
Tayler had already fallen asleep on their couch, and me and Joey were laying down in his bed. I had my head on his chest and my leg draped over his legs. He had one arm around me.

"I love you." Joey told me.

"I love you too, Joey." I said. I looked up and kissed his lips. As we kissed, I sat up and straddled his lap as he layed down. He held onto my side with one hand, and my thigh with the other.
I parted my lips and his tongue entered my mouth. I reached down and put my hands under his shirt and my fingers traced his stomach. Then I pulled his shirt off of him and went right back to kissing. He put his hands on my sides underneath my shirt. Then, I pulled away and smiled at him.

"Whoah." He whispered.

"Yeah." I whispered back. I crawled off of his lap and layed down next to him. He put his shirt back on so his mom wouldn't get mad, and then layed back down. Then, I closed my eyes, and dozed off to sleep in his arms.

"Lovebirds wake up." Joey's older sister, Bella said. I sat up and Joey was still asleep. I ran my fingers through his hair, and then he opened his eyes.

"Morning." I smiled. He smiled and sat up. We walked into the living room where Tayler and Joey's mom were.

"Mom said we can go back home in an hour. They're just checking out one more thing." Tayler told me. I nodded and sat down next to him. Then, Joey came and sat in my lap.

"Shouldn't it be the other way around?" I laughed.

"No." He said. His mom giggled and I wrapped my arms around him.

"Well this is cute and all, but get up." I laughed. He got up and sat on the other side of the couch.

"You guys should do the girlfriend tag thing for Joey's first video on his new channel." Tayler said. I liked the idea and apparently Joey did too.

"That's a good idea. If you're not doing anything we can film today."Joey said. I looked at Tayler and he nodded.

"Okay. Sounds like a plan." I said, then I shot a wink at Joey.

Me and Tayler had gone back to our apartment, and Joey was coming over to film the video.
I heard a knock on the front door, so I got up to open it. It was Joey with his camera and light, and he came inside and we went to my room. He set up the light and camera in front of my bed, so we could sit on it while we filmed.
Joey and I sat next to each other on the bed, and waited for Tayler to get situated in the floor. Once we were ready, Joey started the video.

"What's up guys, it's Joey. This is my first video on this account, and I have a very special guest here." Joey said as he wrapped an arm around my shoulder.

"Hi, I'm Kaylee." I smiled.

"This is my girlfriend. And we're doing the girlfriend tag! So Tayler is going to read off the questions for us because he wanted to be in the video, and me and Kaylee will answer them. Whoever answers the most questions correct, gets to tweet something embarrassing on the other persons account." Joey explained. Then Tayler came and sat on the bed behind us.

"First question for Kaylee. How did Joey ask you out?" Tayler asked.

"He showed up at the front door with a pink rose and asked me to be his girlfriend." I said.

"Okay, this one's for Joey. Where was your first kiss?" Tayler asked.

"Uhhh, by the front door of your apartment." Joey said.

"Okay, Kaylee. What day is Joey's birthday?"

"May 29th." I told him.

"Joey, what is Kaylee's favorite name for you to call her?" Tayler asked.

"Shithead" Joey laughed. I shot him a dirty look and Tayler laughed. "No I'm playing, she likes when I call her beautiful."

After a few more questions, I ended up losing by one point. Then, Joey got to tweet off of my account.

idk why, but I've always been sexually attracted to old men's feet.

"What the hell, Joey?" I laughed. He laughed with me and then retweeted it. It has to stay on my Twitter for 24 hours, and then I could delete it.
Joey was going to edit the video tonight, and hopefully upload it tomorrow night. I just hope his fans really do like me. I don't want them to send to end up sending me hate. And I especially don't want them to be sending Joey hate.
