The moon sits their in the sky
People far and wide come and behold it's glory
It shines bright every night
They get lost in its beauty
Except one
The star that shines bright on its on
For the star knows the truth
Behind the moons great facade
For the moon's beauty is a mask
It's darkness behind the light
Like weakness disguised as might
The true beauty comes from the sun
The one you judge for being so bright
For the sun being itself
Remember the son protects you
The star warns others of the truth
But none listen
So controlled by the moon's fake beauty
The sun grieves for the star's pain
So the sun hides and cries
Then the star comes close to its end
With a boom! Dead ,gone
The sun filled with rage at the people
So it leaves a mark on your skin
A sunburn
So you won't forget
You killed the sun's only friend
Because you gave into lust
Gave into the moon's fake beauty
