For you are light and I'm am the dark
You put things together but I tear them apart
You make others smile I make them cry
You cause happy endings I cause tragedies
But just because we are polar opposites
Does this mean we will have to stay apart
You keep things balanced while I make them uneven
You make others strong while I make them weak
You're the princess of day the goddess of light
While I'm just a servant a thief in the night
Our kinds never mix for its not right to our people
Does that mean we always have to fight
Your heart is warm as fire mine is cold as ice
You create beauty I create the very definition of ugly
You cause unity where you walk I cause division where I walk
You are innocent where I am guilty
But can you give me a chance and stay by my side
And together try to glance the darkness and the light
