In the dead of night when the light starts to peak
I stop at a cafe to drink
There I spend my days
Writing my pain away
That's when he steps in
With such a colorful grin
He writes in his book of wonders
My life monochrome yet he makes me ponder
Here and there we share a glance
Could this be the light giving me a change
At a colorful dance
The feeling I feel is strange
I'm unaware of real connections
How do I handle such affection
He sores high in the sky like the dragons
He strength much like a wolf
He hides in his own world after many battles of rejection
Perhaps if I peek closer into his eyes
I'll figure out how he soars and flies
The king of his own world has hidden his book of wonders deep inside
One day I will find where the book resides
