Waking up

Colleen: *whispering softly* Steve, someone is in the house

Steve: are you sure?

Colleen: yes! I heard the door close

Steve: stay here

Colleen: no I'm not going to stay here I'm going with you

Steve: I can't risk losing you. Stay here.

Colleen: And I can't risk losing you. I'm going with you.

Me: no you're not

Colleen: then you're coming with me

Me: ugh Colleen!

Colleen: shhh!!

I got in front of Colleen and silently crept down the stairs and saw the kitchen light on. Colleen and I both had our guns loaded. We went into the kitchen just to see that it was my mom. Colleen and I both let out a sigh of relief. My moms back was turned because she was making food or something. Colleen took advantage of that and silently ran up the stairs.

Me: mom what the hell are you doing?!

Mom: acting like I don't know that you have a girl upstairs

Me: yeah goodnight mom

I ran up the stairs and went into My bedroom and dove into the bed. I attacked Colleen's face with kisses and she laughed.

Me: You should come with me into the office tomorrow

I held her tight and kissed her shoulder

Me: maybe I can talk the governor into giving you a spot on 5-0

Colleen sat up quickly, which caused her some pain.

Me: easy easyyy

Colleen: you'd seriously do that?!

Me: yeah I mean I'd get to see you all day and you're better than I am at my own job

Colleen: STEVE

She jumped on top of me, Ieaving kisses all over my face

Colleen: you're the best
Me: I know

Colleen rolled her eyes and laid down beside me. Wrapping her skinny arms around me. I kissed her head. She fell asleep and I just laid there thinking until she woke up in the morning. She got up and i was already ready to go to work but Colleen didn't have any clothes. So I drove her to her house. She gave me directions. I pulled up to a medium sized house on a beach.

Colleen: well this is my house

Me: nice place

Colleen: thanks, wanna come in?

Me: sure. Do you still want to come to HQ with me?

Colleen: well of course

Me: okay just making sure

Colleen: I'll only be a few minutes, I just need to get changed

Colleen's POV
Steve was standing and looking at pictures that I had in the living room. I ran upstairs and into my room and put on a white halter top with black shorts and combat boots. I clasped My necklace that my dad gave to me at the back of my neck, and put some water in my hair to freshen up the curls, and then put on some waterproof mascara, I walked down the stairs. Steve was still looking at one picture. The one that I was in with my dad and the police force along with all of their kids. I was 5 years old. Steve asked which one I was.

Me: the one with the mermaid costume on obviously

Steve: *laughs*

I leaned my head on his shoulder. I love his laugh. It was strange, He didn't break the stare he had on the photo. 

Me: Steve? Are you okay?

Steve: *breaks out of the daze* yeah yeah sorry.

Me: *kisses his cheek* come on commander, we don't wanna be late

I clipped my badge onto my shorts along with my gun. Steve Got into his car and started it and made his way to the Five-0 HQ
