Quite The Wedding

Me: *whispers into Kono's ear* something is wrong Kono..

Kono: like what? What do you mean?

Steve: What's happening?

Me: *whispers to Steve* white van in the parking lot. Chipped paint. Tinted windows. License plate number four Romeo seven foxtrot nine two six. Matches the description of the getaway car of Wo Fat used yesterday. Two men in the front seats, more than three in the back. They have guns.

Steve: you're right. Colleen. Danny. Come with me to my car.

Danny: if you are making me stop eating it better be important.

Steve: wo fat is here Danny

Danny: it's important

I followed Steve and Danny to his car, Danny and Steve looked pretty natural, but I was scared. I was nervous because I thought Steve was really cute. I think he was impressed by my observations.

Steve: Colleen do you have your badge in Kono's car?

Me: yeah but I don't have my gun

Danny: Colleen? Sweetheart. Yeah why don't you have your gun?

Me: My apologies, Detective Williams. I didn't expect to need a gun at my little brother's wedding

Danny: Well, Lieutenant Commander Kahananui, you should always be prepared
Steve: Calm down Danno. As long as she has her badge she can shoot a gun.

Danny: This is stupid. This whole thing is stupid. She's wearing a dress Steven. How the hell is she going to hide a gun if she's wearing a dress. She can't even hide her badge.

Me: Steve..someone just got out of the van.

Steve: Colleen, go grab your badge.
I walked casually to Kono's car and signaled for her to come over to unlock it and tell her what's going on.

Me: a man just exited the white van that I described earlier. Get your gun, your badge, hide it.

Kono: are you sure it's the van that wo fat escaped in?

Me: positive.

Turns out I didn't forget my gun. I grabbed it along with my badge and Kono dropped her gun and that caught the eye of the driver of the van. He and I made eye contact and he started yelling and men jumped out of the back of the van. Big machine guns were in there hands. Loud screams and gasps escaped from everyone at the wedding.

Steve: EVERYBODY GET DOWN GET DOWN

The men all started shooting. Kono and I made our way over to Steve. I shot one of the guys down on our way over, Danny got one guy's leg, Steve got another's stomach, Lou shot a guy dead, and there were two guys left. Chin shot one down. Then, Steve Shot the next. The van's engine started and the wheels started screeching. Wo fat was driving. I got out from behind Danny's car and started shooting at the van, but he had a gun too.. I shot a few times before I collapsed to the ground after a billet went through my stomach. "Steve" I whispered before I fell to the ground.
