I wake to a series of loud knocks on
my door. The first thing I assume is that it's Jackie so I just answer the door in my pajamas and bed head.
When I open the door I'm surprised to see that's it's Jack.
"Hey Is, me and the others were wondering if you wanted to go get ice cream with us!"
"Who is 'we' specifically," I ask.
"It's just everyone from last night plus a couple other girls. Ones named Leven, another is Amandla, and the last is Willow," Jack replies.
"Ok, just let me get dressed real quick. I'll meet you guys down there in ten."
I run and take a quick shower then get dressed in some denim shorts and a orange and white stripped t-shirt. I slip on my converse the and run out the door to the elevator.
As I'm waiting for the elevator I hear someone come up behind me. The doors open and I step in along with the mystery person. I see out of the corner of my eye that it's Alexander.
"Hi," he says to me.
"Hi," I say back.
Those are the only words we exchange on the elevator ride.
The rest of the time we stand there awkwardly until the door dings signaling we're in the lobby. The doors slide open and we both step out.
I feel a hand pull my arm, "Come come little one," Jackie says in a horrible attempt at a British accent, I laugh.
"Onwards to to the ice cream shop!" Jack yells while the lady at the desk stares at us like we're all crazy.
We walk out the door laughing on our way to the ice cream shop.
