High School Au - Mystogan Part 2

About an hour later after my embarrassing episode, I managed to get on the bus and get to school without causing myself any more public shame.

I wasn't very unpopular in school, I had my three best friends; Cana, Levy and Wendy. There sure was a range of personalities, but I think that is what makes us get on so well.

I meet Levy at my locker before Form, as our lockers are so close. I see her and wave as I make my way over.

"Hey Levy, how are you this morning?" I say.

"I'm good, did you have any time to look over those notes I sent over this morning?" She says expectantly.

Oh shoot. I was too busy drooling over that blue haired boy, and I didn't have a chance to revise. And by the look on Levy's face, I can tell that she knows too.

"No sorry" I apologise, " I had a bit of a run in with the distraction next door"

"Mystogan? Do tell" she says to me. Levy is the only one who really knows about my crush on the dork, and besides I always come to her in times of need.

"Well, I was on my way to put the rubbish out and then I turned around and he was there doing the exact same thing. And I had no idea that he worked out so much, and it's only because he was shirtless that I saw-"

"Woah woah, slow down. Wait he works out?"

"Not just works out. The guy had the freaking Himalayas on his chest. Mystogan, more like Mystodamn"

"Okay I get the picture, you're practically drooling over the guy. So what happened then?"

"He caught me and I ended up embarrassing myself to the point where I had to run back into my own home and wait for the ground to swallow me up"

"Oh hun. I'm sure it wasn't that bad, besides, you don't have any lessons together today apart from P.E so he'll probably have forgotten all about it by then"

"I seriously doubt it. But I guess you're right. P.E is last lesson, that means I have the whole day to put it behind me."

Sounds easy enough. I could do this right?

Mystogan's P.O.V

There is no way I can do this. The most adorable girl in my life actually spoke to me and was looking at me this morning. How on earth am I supposed to go a whole day ignoring that?

Unfortunately for me I'm sure Jellal and his friends have picked up on my lack of focus. I'm normally right there with all of the answers about quadratic formula and Shakespeare, but now all I can think about is how the colour of her hair matches every colour I can think of, and how the sound of the school bell is drowned out by her laugh.

My whole life lately has been revolved around how to get her to notice me. I even asked Loke to give me some advice.

"Loke, what's a sure fire way of getting a girl to notice you?"

"Why do you want to know? Aren't the girls in your books living up to standards?"

"I'm serious. You're the only guy I know who can get a girl like that"

"I guess that's true. Well you did help me with that map for Geography, so I guess I owe you one"

"Thanks Loke, it means a lot"

He told me that no girl can ignore a guy with some muscles, so I started using Jellal's weights when I got the chance. I had absolutely no idea how to do it, and I still don't, but at least  it worked a bit. I didn't really want to go overboard because I want her to like me for me, not just the way I look.
