Chapter 1 Start of a new year

~Aaron's P.O.V~

Today was the start of senior year for my friends and I, this was the last year we would be at Avery High school before finally going to college. I put on a red flannel, a pair of blue jeans, and a heart necklace that I wear to represent the love from all of my friends. I pushed back my hair and walked out of my room to go say bye to my mom and head out to go get some breakfast tacos with Tira.

I walked out the front door and jumped into my car and made my way to Tira's house, which was just a few houses over. Once I arrived I marveled at the new look of the house, her family recently added a side room so they could have more room for stuff. I honked so she knew that I was finally there, after a short time she came out and hopped in, then we drove out to get some breakfast tacos, after we got our food we made the drive to the old school.

The school was three stories with a circle drive and a giant glass wall in the east corner of the school, they also seemed to have a layout for another part of the school in the works. Once I parked my car Tira and I walked up to the school and headed up to the third floor to meet up with some of our friends. When we finally got to the third floor we sat down and started to eat, that's when I realized what Tira was wearing.

She had on a cute white blouse, dark blue jeans, and some nice boots with pom poms on them. She also carried a purple hoodie that she had since freshman year, which was really cute since it resembled her freshman year. She was my BBF, Best Black Friend, well, Black Mexican.

After noticing her outfit Sam came rushing up with Don right behind her, trying to grab a hold of her hand. Sam quickly ran behind Tira and whispered in her ear, Tira then quickly went and slapped Don across the face making him stumble back. Don was about to get closer but Tira pushed him back, as she was about to hit him again Coal, Deer, and Benji came up to investigate all the commotion. Benji went to restrain Tira before she did anything stupid, while Coal and Deer went to check on Don and make sure he was okay. During all the commotion Randers, Thach, and Accheth came walking up with Laura and Liam following shortly behind them.

With the commotion going on, a few of them decided to just stand off to the side for now, while the rest decided to check things out. Laura went over to see what Sam was up to and noticed that she was shaking, I noticed what they were wearing too. Laura had a light purple shirt on, with blue jean shorts, and with black converse, her outfit complemented her tan skin. Sam had on a white and blue striped shirt, blue jeans, and light blue converse on, which made me laugh inside thinking that she could be a basic white girl. Then I looked around to see what the others were wearing, Randers had on a blue jacket with a mega man shirt underneath, black jeans, and some light blue shoes, he was also one of my Hispanic friends.

Liam had on a plain white t-shirt, some black shorts, and his oh so famous cap that he's had since freshman year, which was nice to see, god, what a White boy. And Accheth had on a regular black shirt, peach colored shorts, and black shoes on which has been his normal attire since freshman year, damn I have so many White friends. Thach didn't really have any new clothes either, just a regular grey shirt, grey jeans, which seemed boring, but that's what he wanted to wear on his first day, at least he didn't wear white, then he would be completely invisible when he's next to a wall.

Then, I looked over to Deer, Coal, Benji, and Don who were all talking amongst themselves and began to admire what they were wearing. Deer had on a cute white flower blouse, blue jean shorts that had flower patterns on the side, and black high tops with long white socks, and a flower crown made of white daisies and blue hydrangea . Coal had on a nice grey ombre shirt, jeans, and white shoes, at least he was a White dude with style. Benji wore a black and purple shirt with stars, making it look like the galaxy, he also wore black jeans, and black shoes, but what was really different is that he had dyed his hair light blue, he's the most fashionable gay white guy I knew. And last, but not least, was Don who had on a regular white shirt and plain blue jeans, the most boring outfit out of all my friends.

After looking at everyone I got up and asked if we could all group up for the start of a new year and the start of new adventures that we will have in the future. Everyone agreed and we all hugged for the first time in a very long time. We pulled away when there was a sudden quake that shook the entire school. We looked out the window and saw a giant crack appear out of thin air and sent an object flying towards them, everyone began to run away from the giant object that was headed their way. A giant crystal suddenly smashed through the glass wall and tore up the third floor, throwing tables and chairs everywhere, causing a great amount of rubble to cover the staircase, meaning the only way out was blocked. Afterwards we stopped to catch our breaths, that was when I to stepped forward.
