Chapter 9 New friend

Aaron turned around to see a guy holding a watch. Aaron quickly took a battle stance and questioned who he was.

"Who are you" Aaron asked as they approached the demon
"I'm Chad I'm your new friend" Chad said holding out out their hand
"Why should I believe you and what are you" Aaron asked as he pulled back not trusting the demon 
"I'm a demon and I want to help you and your friends" Chad said as they pulled back their hand
"Why should I believe you" Aaron asked pulling out his sword
"I want to stop the Demon king he is the one who wants those crystals of yours and I want him dead" Chad said angry at the thought of the Demon King
"A demon wants the demon king dead" Aaron said shocked at the thought
"Yeah I don't agree with what he is doing to the other demons plus he killed my mother" Chad said angry at what the Demon King had done to his mother
"I'm sorry for your mother what did she do" Aaron asked in confusion of what might had happened
"She fought back and died" Chad said remembering what had happened to her
"Alright but you will have to gain more of my trust before I believe you" Aaron said as he walked out with Chad following behind him
"Fine" Chad said keeping up with him

The two left the room and started to check around. Wile walking Chad was hit by a dagger Aaron quickly ran to him and saw Tira standing in front if Chad. Tira was about to swing when Aaron shot the dagger out of her hand using a blast from the orb.

"What the hell Aaron he is a demon" Tira said angry that Aaron would let a demon be around him
"He saved me from getting killed by a demon so don't hurt him" Aaron said trying to calm her down
"Really Aaron just because he saved you" Tira said angry at such a silly reason 
"Yes plus he could really help us we could find the portal and he could freeze the demons in place so we could attack them easily" Aaron said trying to defend Chad
"I can plus use every other power the twelve of you have" Chad said trying to keep his head
"What do you mean" Aaron asked in confusion
"The demon king wants me dead because I took the dark crystal" Chad said showing the crystal 
"Dark crystal what do you mean" Aaron asked still not understanding what he meant by Dark crystal
"Like the crystal shards in the twelve of you I have the entire crystal it hurts but I'll deal with the pain but the dark crystal is not as strong as a crystal shard that is why the demon king wants it so how about I do take you to the portal so we can close it" Chad said trying to explain it better
"Well what are we waiting for let's close the portal" Tira said finally letting up on Chad
"Okay so let's go the portal is out near the lake" Chad said leading them outside

The three of them started to head out to the lake to seal off the portal. Wile on the way there they had to slay some demons when Aaron noticed that Chad used was using a sword that switched between fire water and ice.

"What is with your sword Chad" Aaron said confused 
"It come from your and Randers type of weapon" Chad said explaining what it does
"So you can use all are weapons" Aaron asked trying to understand it
"Not all I can't use Deers Coal Laura or Dons weapons they take more to use so it would put a big strain on me" Chad said explain why
"Oh but who weapon did you use when you helped me" Aaron asked confused 
"I used Thach weapon he can freeze time and I almost forgot I can't use the orbs like everyone else can" Chad said trying to show what he means
"Okay let's stop talking and let's destroy the portal" Aaron said as they approached the lake
"Okay it should be right there" Chad said as they got to the colorless lake Chad pointed to the middle of the lake where they could see a outline of something. It was just floating there with a demon seeming to come out of it every once in a wile.

"How do we destroy it" Aaron asked as he looked out at the lake in front of him                           "First we need to find a way to get to it" Tira said seeing the portal
"We could freeze the lake" Chad said as he tried to approached the colorless water
"How do we freeze a entire lake" Tira asked annoyed at the idea
"Aaron put your water sword into the lake and think of it as solid" Chad said explaining what they should do
"Okay I'll try" Aaron said he then put his sword into the water and thought of it being solid. After that thought it started to slow down until it looked like there was no movement at all.

"So now what" Aaron said with the sword in the water
"Take a step we should be able to walk and get to the portal" Chad said as he looked out at the non-moving water
"Fine we will go but you take the first step Chad" Tira said as she looked at Chad suspicious 
"Fine" Chad said he then took a step forward and stood on the water they then started to go and head the portal. When they got there two demons came out of the portal and ran at Tira and Aaron before they could react they where pushed to the ground and couldn't move.

"Chad help us" Tira said as she called out to him
"O-"Chad said when he was then hit from behind and fell to the ground behind him was Coal. After hitting Chad she hit the demons on Tira and Aaron. The demon fell back and we're about to attack when one of them was hit by a arrow and the other was impaled by a sword. Aaron saw that it was Sam and Don.

"There you two are" Sam said putting her hand out for Tira to grab
"How did you find us" Aaron asked as he got back on his feet
"Don saw you two with what seemed to be a demon" Sam said looking towards Chad
"Don't worry I'll kill this one" Coal said with a fire ball in his hands
"Don't don't hurt him" Aaron said stopping Coal from hurting Chad
"What he is a demon they need to be destroyed" Don said aiming an arrow at Chad's head 
"He saved Aarons life and helped us get over here he want to help us destroy the portal" Tira said vouching for Chad
"Fine he is safe for now but let's close the portal and if he hurts any of us then I will hammer his head into the ground" Laura said as she glared at Chad  and as she finished talking the other eight got there. Chad got up off the ground and looked as he was surrounded.

"Let's just kill him" Accheth said ready to slice Chad down
"No I like him and he has been a big help" Aaron said standing between them
"You like him don't you Aaron you have a boyfriend" Sam said judging Aaron 
"I know but he saved me now let's stop talking and destroy the portal" Aaron said chad then got up and took a step close to Aaron when Sam put her sword between them.

"Let's get this over with" Sam said putting her weapon down
"Alright but I'll need someone help" Chad said as he looked towards Aaron
"I'll help" Aaron said walking towards Chad a
"Okay so take my hand" Chad said holding his hand out
"If you hurt Aaron I'll slice you down" Sam said as she glared at Chad
"I won't hurt Aaron now do you trust me Aaron" Chad said as he held Aaron's hands
"Yes I trust you" Aaron said gripping Chad's hands
"Okay now repeat my words Achean meien blohcing" Chad said as he started to talk in tongues
"Achean meien blocing" Aaron said reapeating the words that Chad had said when there was a sudden blast of white light and the portal started to dissolve into thin air. Aaron and Chad just looked at each other when Aaron pulled him in for a hug.

"Thanks for helping us but how did you know that would destroy the portal" Aaron said as he hugged Chad
"All demon know those words can make and destroy a portal but only strong demons can make portal like the demon king but he needs to use tons of energy to do so" Chad said recalling what needs to happen to open a portal
"So now he can't do that since he used up tons of energy" Aaron said thinking about it
"Exactly but we should start to head back to the school" Chad said with them all walking back
They walked back to the school killing any stray demon that where still there. When they entered the school they started up to the library when they entered Sally was there fixing up the place. They turned to look at them and when they saw Chad they then ran and pinned him to the wall.
