I sat nervously. I had faced many things but Mai waiting for me was more intimidating then having to face my father. I walked out to the ceremony the court yard was fill with lanterns shaped like flowers.

Mai and I hated the idea, but it was tradition. I saw her standing by the Fire Sages. She was beautiful. Her red and white wedding gown made her eyes glow more. She looked at me telling me to hurry she hated being the center of attention so I made my was up to her. The ceremony was short and we went to the party phase, my least favourite thing ever. Mai sat close to me at the grand table so many people we didn't know, it made me kind of nervous but I knew she felt the same way.

Toph walked up to us. "Well who would have thought I would ever see your wedding." She said smiling. Her pale eyes set on us she had grown into a young lady now. She had brought The Duke with her they seem to spend a lot of time together.

"Maybe I'll go to your wedding some day." I said playfully. She blushed, confirming my theory. They both walked away from us leaving the next person to walk up, it was my uncle I was so happy to see him.

"Prince Zuko or should I say, Fire Lord Zuko." After everything he was not the old fat man I knew, he was now in shape. His beard well trimmed and he was dressed in Earth nation clothes.
"I want to congratulate you on your this day of joy. Just remember when you are in a dark place keep moving and you will get to a better place." He moved along I missed his advice sometimes I want him to be around more. He has his own life I want him to live it he is the greatest part of my life.

The next person was one that always got on my nerves, Sokka. He was with his wife Suki. He didn't say anything just bowed. The night went on like this person after person I just wanted it to end then it did. We had planned to go to Ba Sing sS for our honeymoon, Mai had never seen it so that's where we we were heading. I had a bad feeling I couldn't shake. Is there something I'm forgetting? Oh, well.
