We made our way to Ba Sing Se without a problem. Not many things happened anymore, but I did feel like our time of peace would not last. I don't know why. I had started looking for my Mother but I didn't have any leads. The way things felt this was a bad idea.

"We are here Zuko." Mai's voice brought me back to the real world. I look up at her in the damp train, her face was the best sigh I could ever see. I stood up and opened the curtain I saw the great wall aprocthing

"Thank you. Do you want to take the the train or should we take a walk around?" She shrugged. I hated when she did that. Never talked to me just shrugged and smiled. I did love her smile though.

I let the train take us all the way to the palace, every leader of the nations had a room there. I had wanted to stay at a hotel or something but Mai said that she would not sleep where peasants have. I know she tries to be nice but she crosses a line sometimes.

I let her have it her way, I didn't want to fight over something so stupid. We arrived at the palace the guards took our bags upstairs. We walked around for a bit then made our way up to our room for the night.

The next morning was great and we ate breakfast in bed. "Let's go out to the city and try all the shops. I want to bring Tai Lee something back.. And maybe your sister too." Mai's words came to me as a shock I hadn't seen Azula or my father in almost 5 years.

"Yes. Let's just stay in the upper ring or even the middle some of the people here aren't the nicest." I held my hand out and we soon made our way out.
