Zuko's Story

Prologue

It had been 3 years since the war had ended.

We had rebuild the world that was scared from a hundred years of war. The fire nation had to make everything right, we had to pay for everything my ancestors had destroyed. Ba Sing Se laid in ruins along with Omashu. The road to recovery has been long. The end was in sight I had enough time on my hands to finally get married.

Mai had agreed to marry me. After all we had gone through I had to make things right the wedding would be traditional. Just because I didn't like the old Fire Lord doesn't mean I hate my ancestors. Everything was planned out, she would be my Fire Lady.

Mai's family was invited, I had none except my uncle. Uncle was going to close his tea shop to celebrate with me. Maybe Aang and Katara would show but they were on there honeymoon. Suzki and Saka were invited along with Toph.

Well my big day had come, and finding my Mom would have to wait. I had one clue, she was in the Earth Kingdom. I thought she was dead. Turns out my dad can love something after all.
