Ross POV

I dream about last night until Rocky enters my room and decides to begin bouncing on my bed.

"Rocky,"I groan rolling over and trying to go back to my dream.

"Get up I just had the best idea,"he says standing up and jumping.

"It can wait,"I say realizing that its impossible to go back to my dream.

"We should go on a double date,"he says pulling my blanket off.

I sit up and say,"Im listening?"

"Well your dating Alex,"he says pausing,"and I'm dating Monica so we should go on a double date,"he said sitting down.

"Actually,"I begin to say.Me and Alex aren't dating I finish off in my head.

"What,"Rocky says sitting down on the edge of my bed," I look at him and look away not wanting to make eye contact with him. He'll probably laugh at the fact that I haven't asked her yet.

"You don't want to go?"he asks wanting me to say it out loud. I can tell he already knows because I can tell he's trying hard not to crack up.

"You haven't asked her out yet have you?"he asked laughing.

"No Rocky,"I say rolling off my bed.

"But you guys already went on a date?"he asked following me down to the kitchen.

"So,"I said closing the fridge,"I want to make sure she likes me,"I said taking an apple from the counter and washing it.

"Besides,"I say taking a bite of the apple,"our first date was just last night,"I say in a matter of fact tone.

"So,"he says opening the freezer and taking out the bottle of ice cream.

"So,"I said taking out a spoon for both of us,"its too early to go on a second date,"I scoop a spoonful of ice cream. The vanilla making my taste buds dance.

"Fine then lets just all go to the mall,"he says shrugging,"we can tell Ellington and Kelly to join us."

"We have a while we don't see Kelly,"I say.

"Yeah,"Rocky says while nodding his head,"lets see who gets a brain freeze first?"he says while grinning.

"Your on,"I say and we both begin to scoop ice cream and swallowing it. After my fifth scoop we both got a brain scream brain freeze at the same time.

Rydel walks in wearing hello mitty pajamas and says,"Typical,"grabs the bowl of ice cream and walks away leaving me in Rocky in the kitchen while holding our heads.

Alex POV

I wake up and taste salt on my lips. Last nights memories flow into mind. I smile to myself last nights date was amazing and I'm thankful for owing him a date. I look at the clock it reads 5:04. Amanda is going to walk to school today with Cristine,I think to myself. I take a shower and blow dry my hair letting the waves of heat smash into my face. I change into my flowered jeans and slide a light pink t-shirt overt my head. I place a flower crown on my hair and begin to stuff it with thing I thought I might need through out the day. I knocked on Amanda's door and opened it. She was wearing my 5th grade graduation dress. It looked nice on her. She isn't wearing heels like I was when I was wearing the dress instead she had white converse on. Why didn't I think of that?

"Have you seen my combat boots?" I ask going into her room.

"Under the kitchen table,"she said not turning to me while she said it.

"For a nine year old you dress up nice,"I say smiling.

"I'm 10!"she said turning around.

"I know," I always play that she's 9 introducing her to people like if she was just to get her mad.
