Chapter 1 - Five minutes of fame

a/n Hey so the last thing was like an epilogue as it was really short and i realised i described the characters wayyyy to much so this will be the actual first chapter, so please leave a comment if its good bad etc please.

Today has been so awesome i thought, as i flicked my golden brown hairs over my ear. I was reciting the events that had happened over and over in my head still trying to process it. Dylan was just so charming, he was funny and very intelligent. at first i immediately thought that he would be the one to pick on me like the other popular people. But truthfully i really hoped we could be friends but i guess i'd have to step up my a-league just for him to remember my name.

 

I met Jason for lunch after-drama since Rosie immediately left off in a hurry, i wonder why. I'm not the nosy sort so i just left,since i also wanted to check if Jasons first day was as good as mine. well he is a popular one for his grade I'm sure it was a blast. And not uncommon like it is for me.

 

I wonder what it'd be like being popular. All the people chasing just to talk to you, boys trying toimpress you and--- "Montana's off in her thoughts again" i immediately stopped in my tracks, it seems Jason had awoken me from me dreams. he could of at least let me finish it gosh, he can be so annoying. anyway i sudden thought popped up in my head. who is Jason talking to? i was about to ask when i realised who it was.

 

Dylan was laughing alongside Jason at me. I looked down to hide my blush, normally i don'tblush or care if i show it, but being in his presence just made me feel self-conscious. "Uhmm hi? What are you doing here?" damn that sounded like i wanted him to leave why couldn't i be smooth?

 

"Well since I'm new and your the only girl who isn't trying to take advantage of me being new i thought i'd sit with you." Ohh my gosh, did he just say that he turned down every girl to sit with me? I must of heard him wrong but that still didn't stop me smiling ear to ear.

 

"You know, you look really pretty when you smile, why don't you smile alot?" Was that meant to be offensive? I shook my head to clear my thoughts. " Why do you care about me? No-one cares about me I'm just a number in this school, why arn't you talking to other people and why are you being nice to me? " I had to leave before i went i can't believe i fell for this. He must have been laughing at me for falling for him. why do i have to be such a loser?

 

I had a feeling that i was getting alot of stares at the back of my head, well i did just blow off an amazing guy for no real reason. I guess im just not used to getting noticed and well i sorta liked it, but i know its just a one off thing and it wont happen again. Ohh well looks like my five minutes of fame are over.

 

I met up with Jason at the bus stop after school, it was really weird considering i have maths andEnglish with Dylan and i think you know how that would feel. I normally liked the peace and quiet in class, but people were quiet not because they didn't want to talk to me, but because they were thinking of what a weirdo i was. As i was waiting with Jason at the bus stop i almost fainted, Dylan was catching our bus? Then a strange thought popped up into my head but i quickly dismissed it since i new i was just winding myself for something that's not.

A/n I hoped you like the first chapter of the book (after the prologue) I hope it is long enough if i should go longer tell me like how much , more chapters or whatever i need.
