I couldn't be any more happier than I was in that moment when I got into bed after getting back from the hotel. The night couldn't have been any more perfect. Well, as long as Draco didn't get into any trouble when he got back to the manor. I had been skeptical about going there, but Alexandra had said that t would go off without a hitch. Draco wouldn't get into trouble (and stay alive) as well as no one following us back to Marcus' cottage. She's just don't understand why she would be willing to hel Draco for the way he treated her before. I guess that it had something to do with that one deatheater that she had her lips all on at the hotel. I believe his name was Micah.
"Hey," Kamrynn called out as she closed the door behind her and got into the bed with me. "I'm so happy right now."
I sighed in content. "Me too."
"I still can't believe that we were able to see the guys before this whole war blows up," she said, pulling me close to her. "We are so lucky."
"We really are, aren't we?" I smiled to myself. "I love you, Kam."
"I love you too, Court," she squeezed me tight. "I wouldn't know what I'd do without you."
The door then creaked open to reveal Astoria. "Hey, guys," she sounded so sad. "Can I-"
"Get in here now, Astoria!" Kam yelled and pulled up the blanket.
She smiled. "Are you sure?"
I smiled. "Get in!"
"So, is he gone?" Kam asked after Astoria got settled.
"Yeah," she sighed. "I miss him already. I started thinking about what he had said earlier today. You guys, what if this is the last time that I'll see him? What if one of us dies in the war?"
"There's a chance that all of us could die," Kam blurted out. "I could die right now, lying in between my two best friends. But, you know, we take that chance everyday."
I shook my head at Kam but went passed it and looked at Astoria. "I am scared everyday that Draco is going to die because he is directly in You-Know-Who's line of sight. So, I understand where you're coming from."
"Oh, I'm such an idiot. Of course you two have it worse than I do. Both of them are there with Him," she tilted her head so I was on top of Kam's. "It's hard to imagine that last year the only thing on my mind was trying to get back to Rolf."
"Who the hell is Rolf?!" Kam shouted.
"Kam, hush it," I said. "You know, there are other people sleeping?"
"You were thinking it too."
I looked back to Astoria. "Who the hell is Rolf?"
"He was my first love," she smiled to herself. "He is the serious type and about seven years older than me. He works as a clerk for the Ministry of Magic office in Paris. I met him on one of Beauxbatons many trips to Paris. We met and the sparks just flew. Shortly after I graduated, I moved from England to Paris until my parents called me back. Little did I know, it was to marry Draco. I wrote Rolf and told him everything. He sent me back a letter shortly after telling me that it was better if we parted ways since both of us had found somebody. I wrote him many letters afterwards, but I didn't have the heart to send him so many hateful letters."
"I could just kick that guy," Kam said, getting a little flustered. "Kick him right in the face."
"We should probably head downstairs," Astoria smiled at her. "Hermione will probably be getting us up here soon to leave."
I nodded. "How did training her to be like Bellatrix go, anyway?"
She laughed as we got out of bed. "It was horrible. I really hope that she gets passed those goblins just on her looks tomorrow. Oh," she added as we headed down to the kitchen, "She's figured out a way to get us three in as well tomorrow, but she wouldn't tell me."
"I would say good morning," Alex said when she saw us come through the door, "but you're leaving today. Going out into that dangerous world when you could be safe right here with Marcus, Sophie, Adeline, and myself."
I went straight to her and gave her a hug. "I'm sorry, Alex, but we're truly not safe anywhere, and in order to make it safe, I'm going to help Harry. You are the greatest help taking in Adeline. Keeping her and my niece safe, I couldn't ask for more."
She hugged me back. "I know what you're saying, Courtney, but you don't have to go. Harry, Ron, and Hermione can go themselves."
"It's bigger than that, Alex, way bigger. I love you all, and I'll see you all when the war is over."
"Courtney!" I turned to see Ron from the doorway of the kitchen. "We need you all upstairs," he said looking from me to Astoria to Kam, who was playing with Sophie.
I hugged Alex and kissed Adeline before following the three other wizards out of the kitchen and up the stairs and into the smallest room in the cottage. Where we found Harry and Hermione. It looked like the plans were made and preparations were complete because Hermione was staring at the mantelpiece where a coarse black hair lay curled in a small glass phial. She then looked at the wand that was in her hand. She looked as if the wand would sting or bite her at any given chance.
"I hate this thing," she said in a low voice. "I really hate it. It feels all wrong; it doesn't work properly for me...it's like a bit of her."
"It'll probably help you get into character, though," Ron said, making his way across the room to her. "Think what that wand's done!"
"But that's my point!" said Hermione. "This is the wand that tortured Neville's mum and dad, and who knows how many other people? This is the wand that killed Sirius!" Hermione's head lowered. "I miss my wand. I wish Ollivander could've made me another one like he did for Luna."
I wanted to know what had happened to her wand, but I figured that it was another story for another time. She needed to get into character and it wasn't going to go very well I could tell. I sighed and looked over to Astoria and Kam, who were still standing in the doorway.
"Are we sure that Astoria can't do it?" I said, trying to get Hermione out of something that made her feel so uncomfortable.
Hermione shook her head. "I'm the only one to know what the cup looks like."
"But," Astoria said, making everyone looking at her, "you said that you figured out a way that could get us all there. So, why can't I be Bellatrix?"
"She would be more convincing," Ron said, rubbing Hermione's arm.
Harry nodded. "Astoria will be Bellatrix then. Hermione, you'll just do to yourself what you were going to do with those three. We need to be able to get through smoothly."
Astoria took the wand from Hermione's loose grip before making the same face Hermione had had just moments before. "This does feel wrong..."

A/N:
Sorry for another wait! I sure hope it was worth it! We're coming along smoothly with this story. I know there was quite a bit of jumping around in this chapter, but it had to be done! I hope you're excited for the next chapter...it'll be a Draco one!
Oh! I had forgotten that I was posting little facts about A Web of Lies (to refresh your memory, it's going to be the next generation fanfiction spin-off of this trilogy!) So, the last one was the theme song of the story which was Under the Influence by Elle King.
A Web of Lies throw out! ---> The main character's initials are ---> S.A.M.
Well, don't forget to comment, vote, and love! <3
