Draco
I hadn't slept just about all week. I was about to marry Lila the next day and was a complete wreck just thinking about it. I had paced so much, I bet you could see a track in my carpet. Snape had given me a pep talk just about everyday to keep my spirit up, but none of them had worked. I felt like I was going to puke and just wanted to run away all at the same time. Every time I closed my eyes, I saw Courtney. My beautiful Courtney. She was smiling up at me and telling me that she loved me. How I wished I could reach out and pull her into me.
"Draco."
I jumped and turned to see Lila coming into my room. She quickly closed the door behind her before turning back to me and leaning back against the door. I sighed as her sad eyes looked into mine. When I met her, she couldn't think of anything better than marrying me, but since she and Mitch had gotten together, she sort of didn't want anything to do with me anymore. She hadn't sought me out since then, so I was a tad bit baffled by why she was there in the first place.
"Yes?" I answered.
She swallowed hard. "I'm nervous about tomorrow, and Mitch can't even speak to me right now."
I sighed. "I'm nervous as well. Plus, I don't blame him. He probably doesn't want you to see him cry."
She shook her head. "He thinks that they'll make us consummate the marriage, but I don't think they will. The marriage is just enough. He's so angry with me because he says I'm naïve."
"Well, I hate to break it to you, Lila," I ran my fingers through my hair, "but you are being kind of stupid right now. He's making us marry. He's not gonna stop there. I know for a fact that he's going to make us consummate the marriage. He's going to make it as solid as he can. Plus, he selected us because we would be a good match for having children, pure-blood children. So, yes. We will be having sex tomorrow night."
"I was really hoping that you would be on my side about this," she slumped down to the floor. "My first time cannot be with you. No offense."
I sighed. "None taken." I sat down on my bed. "You're first time needs to be with Mitch. I can't take that away from him."
"But you're going to have to," she started crying. "You have to."
She was then moved by my door because it had opened to reveal Blaise. He came in and shut the door, apologizing when he realized that he had pushed Lila out of the way. He had helped her up and the turned to me.
"I have a surprise for both of you," he smiled at both of us. "You just have to come with me."
I shook my head. "No, man. I have to stay here tonight."
"They're not doing roll call tonight, Drake," he laughed. "I got that duty tonight thanks to Snape, who thinks its a great idea that I have this little surprise for both of you. So, you're coming with me. Alright?"
I smiled and nodded. "Alright then, mate."
We both followed him out of the house and into the night. We walked down to the end of the hill before he turned to both of us before we continued any farther. He reached out for both our hands, and as soon as we touched him, we apparated. When we reached our destination, I saw that we were in a hallway with white walls and purple carpeting. I let go of Blaise's hand and looked around. There were multiple doors with numbers on them. I raised an eyebrow at my best mate.
"What is this place?" I had asked.
"This is a muggle hotel," he stated, "and I have gotten each of you a room here. Draco, you will be in room 4. Lila, room 7."
