A Vampire's Heaven (on Hold)

Chapter 9

This is just a small filler chapter in Rhea's POV

I was thinking about Rose's decision when I saw a movement in the periphery of my vision. I stood up faster than anyone could perceive and was hovering over everyone's heads in the next moment, with a protective shield around each one of them. Before I could take my next step though, they all were in a protective circle around Nessie and Emmett was in a protective stance near me all the while ready to strike.

I looked up and couldn't help the laugh that escaped my lips. "Sorry everyone! My bad! It's just my friend." I couldn't help my chuckles as I landed smoothly on the sofa and everyone relaxed slightly. Jazz sent a soothing wave through us all and Sur dropped her shield that was making her invisible.

Every member of my family had their eyes glued on either my wings or Sur. Well, she was certainly a shock to everyone. With beautiful looks, capturing bright green eyes and long brown hair, she was a vision indeed in her long white gown with equally white wings. In contrast were my black and white wings that they all were seeing for the first time. My wings were all black the last time I was with mom-dad and Ed.

"Everyone, this is my best friend and Damien's soulmate, Sur." I introduced her to everyone and started pointing everyone in pairs, "And Sur, these are my parents, Carlisle and Esme Wayne; my brothers and their wives: Edward and Bella Wayne, Jasper and Alice Wayne; this is Emmett Wayne and this is Renesmee, my niece, and her soulmate Jacob Black, alpha of the Black Pack."

After the handshakes were done and mom-dad were done welcoming her, I pounced on her. "What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Ri, that's rude baby." Mom scolded me, but Sur simply rolled her eyes at my antics.

"Get off, fatso" she said, "I'm here as part of your public story as decided by the council."

"Hey who're you calling fatso, you fat ass?" I retorted, getting off of her. "Anyways, what story?"

"I'll tell you as soon as I can breathe." She said fake panting, "So, the council has decided that you'll be going to school with your siblings and keep an eye on every student and anyone who could have been in contact with Rosalie Hale. This is an open case because this is personal for you. In addition, you'll have parents and a younger sister. Everyone will be in place tomorrow."

"Oh man! School! And I'll probably have some snobs for parents and a bimbo for sister." I said already thinking of some irritating pranks to play, like pink glittering hair. I snickered to myself and Sur smacked me upside my head.

"What?" I cried out.

"Dams and I are your parents and Sona is your sister, duffer." She declared, clearly affronted with my description.

I snorted and hugged her, "You know I love you all, babes. Don't be offended. You know how I am. My brain to mouth filter is always missing."

Sur hugged me back with a smile "I know. Anyways, I only came to inform you. We are supposed to be entering town for the first time tomorrow. Dams will ready everything, but you'll have to meet us before we enter town. Dams will be reopening the wood processing factory here. He has already bought it under the name Damien Vincent Seraphim." I doubled up with laughter listening to Dams' fake middle name. He had always had an affiliation to guns and gangsters and that is why he always chose such names.

"Alright Mrs. Sur Damien Seraphim, your elder daughter will meet you before the town limit tomorrow morning. Don't worry." I mock bowed to her, while trying to sober up.

Sur went back home and I decided to prepare dinner for Nessie, Jake and I.

"Jacob, are you friends coming over too?" I asked him.

"No they are on patrol duty today. I'll tell them about you Rhea, obviously. You'll meet them some other day." He said.

"Okay." I smiled but then realizing what he had called me I said to him and Nessie, "Call me bua both of you. And no Emmett it's not a boa, I'm talking about the Hindi word bua which means father's sister." I completed before Emmett had the chance to comment.

I cooked dinner and we all ate while the rest lounged around.

"Hey mom! Can you make your designs fit in the room I'll stay in while I'm here?" I asked her to get a very cheerful affirmative response. Even Ed seemed happier. I hope that everything will be better soon.

Enjoy! This was just to bring everyone back tot he present and a glimpse in Rhea's character and future life. A few more characters will be joining. I hope everyone realizes this is a fanfic and will have new people and is not actually Twilight or it's sequel or anything.
