Jungkook still had a week left before he had to get back to his work. He didn't work at the old tattoo shop anymore and managed to get this job from an interview right before their honey moon. He still hadn't met all of his colleagues, which made him incredibly nervous when he was going back to work. The hospital notified his work that he was hospitalised, and Jungkook feared they'd fire him for not meeting up as his first official job time, but they were surprisingly understanding and caring, telling him to take his time. Jungkook was touched, honestly. He liked his job and boss already, even though he'd only met her once.

The next day on Tuesday, when Jungkook woke up to make breakfast for both of them, Taehyung was slower than usual. He waited for him, but when he showed no signs for coming anytime soon, Jungkook decided to go and fetch him.

When the boy opened the door, he found the elder still laying in bed, but he didn't seem to be sleeping. He was groaning in what sounded like pain, probably not aware the younger had showed up.

"Hyung?" he asked carefully, which surprised the other and he sat up in high speed. He regretted it immediately and quickly crashed his head back down in his pillow. "Hyung, are you in pain?" the younger panicked. "Where are the painkillers? I'll get them! Where are they?"

"Jungkookie," Taehyung groaned, "it's not my eyes."

Jungkook's eyes widen as he stood next to the bed, staring down at the boy. If it wasn't his eyes, then what? "What hurts then?"

Taehyung searched for Jungkook with his eyes, but they never found what they searched for and just stared in the direction he heard Jungkook's breath and voice. Jungkook was sure Taehyung was glaring at him right now. "You were too rough last night," he muttered, almost inaudible, but loud enough for the younger to hear his words clearly.

The younger blushed madly at his husband's remark. "I-I'm sorry Taehyungie," Jungkook whimpered whilst caressing his face and hair. "I was desperate last night as well," he mumbled embarrassed. "I'm sorry for hurting you," he apologised sincerely.

Taehyung waved it away with his hand and smiled. "It's okay Jungkookie, but I'll never do it again without lube," he commented, causing them both to chuckle, "I'll come out soon."

"Don't overdo it, just lay here for as long as you have to," Jungkook said whilst kissing him on the forehead softly.

"No, I'll get up soon," he protested, "you made breakfast." He smiled up at him as he had mentally confirmed where he was standing. "I can smell it from over here, so don't lie. I'll be right up," he reassured. Jungkook only nodded back whilst continuing to wait in the kitchen for the elder.

When he had finally come out of the bedroom, he was limping on his way, but luckily he was well known around in the apartment so he didn't walk into something. "You should just rest hyung," Jungkook said as he was almost by the dinner table, "I can bring you your food to the bedroom."

Taehyung ignored him and found his seat. He started eating immediately with the fork he had to use from now on that Jungkook set ready. It'd be too difficult for the blind male to eat with chopsticks and rather just have a fork to stab aimlessly on the plate with guidance of his knife.

"You doing okay?" Jungkook asked worried as the other male was eating slower. Even slower than he did after the accident.

"I'm fine Jungkookie, stop worrying all the time," he smiled as he continued to eat, trying to speed it up.

The males decided to go outside to enjoy the nice weather and walked around in a park they spent a lot of time at during their studies.

"Remember when you fell of the red slide?" Taehyung said randomly as they were walking around, hand in hand. "Who even manages to fall off a slide?" he laughed.

Jungkook also chuckled at the thought. "Hey! You fell off the swing, you're no better than me," he teased as he playfully nudged him.

"Come on, everyone has fallen off of a swing," Taehyung giggled, "but no everyone has fallen off a slide."

Both the males walked around aimlessly, just enjoying each other's company. Jungkook always made sure to tell Taehyung where they were, so he could memorise some of it if he had to go alone sometimes. They also went to a store to buy a blind stick for him if that was needed when Jungkook was at work or was busy with something else.

The following week the males only concentrated on comforting the other. They were of course still in shock after the accident, and Jungkook still blamed himself, no matter how much Taehyung tried to convince him otherwise.

But there was something Taehyung still didn't know about his husband's feelings; he still had hatred for the truck driver, and he wasn't going to just let him get away that easily.
