It had bothered Jungkook that Taehyung wasn't telling him whom the caller was, and what it was about. He looked so worried about it, even scared, and it definitely didn't make him feel any better, as he wasn't informing him at all.

When they reached home, Taehyung went straight for the bathroom, as he must be getting ready for bed. Jungkook also stripped to get in his pyjamas as well, waiting for the bathroom to get ready. When the older male exited, Jungkook flew right inside, trying to rush so he'd be able to talk to his husband before he'd fall asleep already.

When Jungkook finally got in bed, he waited a few minutes before he started talking. "I saw you getting a phone call earlier," he said casually, hoping Taehyung would reply him.

He waited a few seconds before he did. "Yeah."

"Was it important?"

"Yeah."

Now Jungkook became worried. "Serious enough that I should know as well?"

Taehyung hesitated. "...yeah."

Jungkook waited, thinking the elder would tell him, but he never did. "Well?" he asked as he glanced at the male beside him. "Aren't you going to tell me?"

Taehyung was obviously avoiding him as his eyes were open, but his head was turned towards the roof. "No," he muttered.

Jungkook snorted. "I should know, but you aren't going to tell me?"

Taehyung sighed. "I need to think first."

Okay, now Jungkook was extremely nervous. "Taehyungie," he whispered as he scooped closer to him, "don't you want me to know? I'm getting really worried here."

Taehyung shrugged. "I'll tell you tomorrow."

Jungkook gave up as he knew he wouldn't tell him tonight; all he had to do now was to wait until the morning and try to get him to talk to him then. He'd probably only say he still had to think, something Jungkook knew he'd say.

"Jungkook?" Jungkook wake up immediately by the voice calling him as well as feeling his body shaking lightly. "Jungkookie," the voice called again.

There was no doubt it was his husband. "Why are you awake so early hyung?" Jungkook asked sleepily.

"Early? It's almost 1 p.m," Taehyung snorted.

Jungkook sat right up with his eyes fixed on the other male. "How did I sleep for that long?"

Taehyung rolled his eyes. "I don't know," he mumbled as he started moving towards the door. "But I'm hungry, so get up so we can make breakfast."

Jungkook smiled as he stood up. He said we, which means he's accepting the fact they're making it together, and he's not protesting to make it anymore.

"Did you sleep well?" Jungkook asked when they both were in the kitchen to prepare their meal.

"...yeah."

Jungkook knew it was a lie. "Did you think a lot about the phone call?" he asked as he glanced over his shoulder to look at the elder, who stopped his movements for a moment until he continued. "Is that why you didn't sleep well?"

Taehyung sighed heavily. "Sometimes I wish you didn't know me so well," he said, smiling to himself, which Jungkook witnessed.

He smiled too with a slight giggle. "I'm glad I know you well," he grinned, "that way I know you can't lie to me."

Taehyung stopped as he glanced over where Jungkook was standing. "I didn't meant to lie to you," he muttered.

Jungkook could tell he felt apologetic. "It's okay hyung," he smiled as he wrapped an arm round his husband's waist and planted a kiss on the top of his head. "But will you tell me this time? What the call was about?"

Taehyung looked up at him before suddenly attacking him with a hug. "I'm sorry Jungkook," he whispered, "I still need to think for a little while."

Jungkook sighed. "Sure." And with that, Jungkook had to wait for him to be ready and tell him. He just hoped it wasn't a ticking bomb and when he finally would tell him, it'd be too late.

Later that day Jungkook went out with Jimin, Namjoon and Seokjin to hang out in a café to just chat and take a coffee. Taehyung wanted to be alone for the day, Yoongi was busy, and so was Hoseok.

"How's Taehyung?" Seokjin asked Jungkook after he arrived with their orders.

"He's better than before after his brother's visit, but since yesterday after the phone call he got, he's been really weird," he explained, causing the others to frown.

"What kind of weird?" he asked, "what do you know about the phone call?"

Jungkook thought for a moment. "He's been less chatty, and when I brought the phone call up, he tried to just avoid it. I asked yesterday night before we went to sleep what it was about, but he just told me it was important, although he didn't want to tell me yet as he needed to think. He said the same this morning before I went out with you guys. I wanted him to come, but he said he wanted to be alone to think," Jungkook described.

Seokjin went quiet to think and analyse the situation. The others waited patiently as they drank their coffees, trying not to be so obvious about their nervousness, especially Jungkook. What if it was something very serious, enough to harm Taehyung? Or anyone around them? Should Jungkook even be here with his friends? What if Taehyung is home, getting beaten up at this exact moment? Jungkook tried to calm down his panicking thoughts as he continues to wait for Seokjin.

"I wouldn't say I'm right," he started, staring at Jungkook in the eyes, which made the younger gulp nervously, "but to me, it sounds like he's really thinking hard of something, like an decision. If I had to guess my biggest suspicion, it might be an operation for his eyes. It might trouble him enough to this point, and he'd want to think through alone before confronting it to you." Jungkook jaw had dropped at this point. He got a phone call from his doctor about a possible eye operation? And he didn't even tell him? "Of course I could be wrong," he added, "I wouldn't really know. I'm only guessing my best guess, judging from the situation and how he's reacting and behaving."

Jungkook nodded in agreement. "That may actually be it," he muttered. Somehow, Jungkook felt sad and hurt, but also slight feeling of anger.

"Jungkook-ah," Jimin said softly as he put an arm around his shoulder to comfort him. "Taehyung likes to be clear with his own thoughts before sharing it to others, we both know that. Don't pressure him, and he'll tell you," he said and smiled.

"Just wait?" Jungkook asked as he pushed his hand away whilst standing up. "How can I just wait? Taehyung had possibly gotten a phone call from his doctor, probably saying he can get an operation for his eyes, something he's longing for and been praying for since the accident, but he's not telling me!" he yelled, causing a few costumers to glance their way. "How can I possibly just wait, huh? Don't you see I'm worried for him to death, sad and hurt he doesn't want to discuss it with me, and angry because he keeps this kind of important information away from me?"

Jimin could tell he was already triggered, and he thought through what he had to do to calm down his friend. "Jungkook!" Jimin stood up as well, this time giving him a stern look. "We don't know if that phone call was even about that, so don't overact! Don't be childish! How are you already angry with this? Calm down before you go ahead with your stupid overacting thoughts," he scolded.

Jungkook, however, was too caught up in his emotions and didn't listen to his friend. He stormed out of the café and headed straight home.
