The boys waited outside in the waiting room, all nervous about how it was going. Sometimes some doctors and nurses would come and go, and they'd ask them about Taehyung, but they couldn't say much expect from it was going well so far.

"What if it doesn't go well?" Jungkook asked, mostly to himself.

"Hush," Seokjin scolded, "don't think like that."

Jungkook was so nervous. He couldn't sit, nor stand still. His legs were trembling so much he thought he shook the whole building.

After some time had passed, a familiar man walked out of the room. "Jeon Jungkook?" he asked, and the male immediately stood up. "Hi, I'm Taehyung's doctor, and I also did the surgery," he presented himself whilst bowing, which Jungkook also did.

"How is he? Did the surgery go well?" he asked whilst intertwining his sweaty hands and rubbed them against each other.

The doctor waited a few seconds before answering. "Yes," he smiled, "it went very well. He'll soon be transported to his own room and where he'll have to be here until his eyes has healed," he explained. Jungkook was so relieved he could barely stand. He's okay.

"T-Thank you so much doctor," he bowed again, fighting against his own dizziness.

The doctor smiled. "I heard form Taehyung he went without informing you, so it must've been quite shocking for you." Jungkook nodded. "I did my absolute best to make this successful, and I know Taehyung was fighting well. The surgery is successful, so no need to worry anymore." Jungkook felt a huge urge to hug the man to show his gratitude, which he did, which only made him to chuckle softly whilst patting him on the back. "You're welcome." He disappeared inside the room again, and after about an hour or so, Taehyung was laying on a bed where nurses moved him to his own room. He was asleep with once again bandages around his head to cover his eyes. It was never a sight Jungkook could get used to.

The boys could now wait outside where there were more benches for them to sit on, and also a vending machine for drinks and snacks. Seokjin decided to buy everyone some drinks and snacks. The doctor stopped by again to inform them they didn't have to wait today as Taehyung was most likely not going to wake up today anyways. One after another had to go for their busy lives, and towards the night it was only Jungkook and Jimin left.

Jungkook hadn't said anything for the past hours of waiting. All Jimin could do was to comfort him by saying Taehyung was okay, the surgery went well, and also buying him drinks and food so he wouldn't starve to death.

It was becoming very late, and the doctor stopped by again, finding the two males still waiting. "Jungkook, I already told you, you should leave. He won't wake up today," he said. Jimin nodded as he stood up, waiting for his friend to do the same, but he still remained seated.

"Come on Jungkook," Jimin said, "we'll come back tomorrow."

He stood up, but he didn't leave with Jimin just yet. "Can I go inside just to say goodbye? I want to see him before going," he begged.

The doctor was about to say Taehyung should rest without any disturbances, but after witnessing the begging puppy eyes of the boy, he couldn't help but to sigh and nod in agreement. "Sure, but ten minutes at top, okay?" Jungkook nodded with a smile and quickly went inside the room where he grabbed a chair to sit on beside his husband that was sleeping on the hospital bed. The sight even made him flinch for a moment.
