Won't You Stay? (Taron Egerton)

Leave: Part 2

       ***Chanel with her cousin***

I woke up with the door opening behind me. I fell backwards and quickly jumped up, completely startled of coarse.

"Sorry" Chanel says with a blank look on her face. She was so expressionless, so numb in a way.

I just stood there, watching Chanel as she rushed about in the kitchen and living room, still being emotionless.

She just stared at me while walking past me and into the room. Closing the door behind her once again.

I sigh and walk to the kitchen. I stare at my empty bowl for what seems like forever. I don't feel the need to eat, which is weird because I always eat breakfast.

After a while Chanel came out and placed the apartement keys on the table in front of me.

"Here's the key back, thanks for the stay, it was lovely" She looked me dead in the eye, no smile, no sparkle in her eyes, absolutely nothing.

Before I could reply she took her suitcases and walked towards the door. "Chanel, you don't have to go" I say and rush around the island to reach her.

She blankly stares at me for a while, turned around and walked off. I can't help but feel sad.

"So I guess this is goodbye" I whisper to myself as I watched her walk further and further away.

I closed the door and fell down onto the couch. I took a deep breath and sighed.

Was this the right thing to do? Wasn't it? Or was it? Do I still love her? Or don't I?

I started hesitating whether I made the right decision or not. I'm struggling over here and I don't know what to do.

I got up, straightened out my clothes, grabbed my jacket and went off to the bar.

       *** Chanel's P.O.V. ***

When I placed the keys on the table in front of Taron, he looked startled.

I literally feel dead inside, I know we faught and broke up before, but something tells me this is for real this time.

"Chanel, you don't have to go" Taron says rushing around the island after me.

I wanted to stay so bad, I wanted him to ask me, "Won't you stay?" but those words never came and I realized that I had only been dreaming of those words to come.

And it will remain only a dream it seems.

I turned around and looked him in the eye, I wanted to just let go of all my bags and hug him, but why do such a thing when it clearly won't mean anything to him.

I just blankly turn around and headed out the door. Why should I even bother to stay when he clearly doesn't want me in his life?

As I walk down the hallway, I felt a single tear sliding down my pale cheek.

I could barely keep it together, how I did it for this long remains a mystery to me.

The elivator doors opened and I got inside. I took a glimpse of the scenery in front of me..

No Taron, the apartement door is closed.

It was all I needed to see. I pushed the button and the doors closed. I kept looking down, I don't feel the need to look people in the eye right now.

The doors opened and I took my bags and headed outside. The doorman kindly helped me with the bags and I thanked him.

"We'll miss you Mrs. Egerton" The doorman says and I felt something like a knife going through my heart.

"Miss. De'Abriton" I corrected him and he sympathetically smiles and says sorry.

"I'll miss you too Roger" I smile and take him into a hug. I couldn't help but cry softly onto his shoulder.

We parted and I got into the taxi and I drove off to the airport.

It almost feels like last time. Only now I don't plan on killing myself and I want to start a successful career in California.

It really breaks my heart to think that I need to leave all these great memories and friends behind.

Tessa doesn't even know I'm leaving the country.. I'll call her and explain everything when I arrive in America.

I just stare out the window, watching the raindrops falling to the cold, hard ground. Just like my heart did yesterday.

Just like the raindrop that scatters all around, my heart scattered and I can't seem to find all the pieces to put it back together.

Maybe I'll find some of them in California. Or, I can always start over again.

Even if it means Taron won't be a part of it.
