Six months later

Another day, another minute, another second, that I had spent with Caelan, it was hell.

The past month we had been at blue haven, a small pack that resided in a forest, the exact location was unknown to me. There was just over twenty other wolves with us now, they were mainly from the blue haven pack, forced to join the pack Caelan was building up. The blue haven alpha had been very protective of his pack, but he died quickly, he was old and no match for Caelan. Some of them had joined willingly choosing to betray their pack over death, I know which one I would have chosen. My wolf instincts were all I really relied on lately, I was hardly ever in human form and when I was it was to do something for Caelan or to buy human food, let's just say I didn't really get a chance to be me.

I tried not to think about him, the one my heart pined for every second of every day. I missed them all, Aaron, Krystal, Mom, Phil, my dad. I hadn't seen my own father in a long time, at least everyone else knew why I was missing, my father would be worried sick. In the first few weeks of being missing I was worried and scared and upset, now I don't worry, I'm not upset and I'm not scared, I don't really feel any emotion, I've cut off my heart.

"Hey Vic?!" I turned to look at Jared, he flounced over with a huge smirk on his face, Jared was a rouge wolf that joined us two months in, he was a friendly fellow that I actually felt sympathy for, Caelan only let him join the cause because of his size, he was huge but a gentle giant.

"Yeah J?" I said.

"The boss asked for you again." I sighed, the boss was Caelan, he wanted me in the main house, once a month he gathered all of the recruited females in the main house and lectured us over the rules and regulations of being a good mate, he always used me as the example, he pretended I was his, I wasn't, not in the slightest.

"Can't you make an excuse for me?" I asked, Jared sighed and walked towards me rubbing my shoulder.

"It will be fine, it's only a lecture, no examples today. It's for the young ones, so they will be keeping the physical displays to a minimal." I nodded and stood brushing off my clothes, Jared pulled me in for a hug and kissed the top of my head lightly. "I'm sorry Blaire."

"It's not your fault I'm here, It's my own." I told him, he stepped back and looked at me, tilting me so I looked him in the eyes.

"You are a brave girl Blaire, don't let this get you down." He sighed. "You'll be safe sometime soon, I know that your mate will find you, I just know he will."

"He has to find her first." We both turned to the new voice, Caelan.
