Behind The Curtain.

A Stranger In My Room!

I went for the handle of my door but the door was slightly open.......I could remember shutting it but maybe I didn't.

I opened the door to see Sarah sitting on my bed she had came through the window..."Skyler" she called out as she ran up to hug me.

"omg Sarah you scared me!" I say laughing. "NO YOU SCARED ME JAMES TOLD US EVERYTHING" She said slamming the door shut and pulling me over to the bed.

"What?" I say chucking. "He told me everything like how you went ballistic and started slapping him then Was shouting who is she who you cheating on me with" she was panting and out of breath.

My eyes widened,"that's not what happened at all!" I say and I explain what had happened these two days.

"so you still with him?" she asked and I looked down at my palms. "we haven't officially broke up so I guess so" I looked to her and her jaw dropped.

"Just do what I do and text dump him!" she squealed out. "I would never be that harsh to someone" I say biting my lip.

"ughh why can't you just be a robot like me for Goodness sake?" she said walking over to the window.

"because I'm not heartless" say giggling. "you're pretty heartless at times" she said as she put he leg out the window to the fire escape.

"I'm not heartless it was just stolen from me me" I say but James wasn't who I was thinking about.

"Well, I'm going, see you tomorrow, I'll be up with the bike and you better be ready" she says as she closes the window behind her.

I walk over to my bathroom and get ready for bed I get in and slowly fall asleep to the sound of my clock ticking away.

I woke up to my alarm and quickly got up I ran over to my bathroom quickly hoped in the cold shower and ran back into my room (with no towel ) and put on my clothes as quick as I could.

I brushed my teeth and hair then quickly put in two plats then put on a beany my jeans and a tank top.

I put on my shoes and ran down the steps, I grabbed my bag and sat at the table as I waited for Sarah.

She pulled up half an hour later, I run outside and get on the bike.

"you're late" I said stating the obvious she smiled and started up the engine. We drove off and with in five minutes we were at school.

I walked in with Sarah and James walked up to us,Sarah went quite he gave her a look and she backed away quickly.

"so..you're going to mias?" he asked snaking his arm around my waist and I pull away from him.

"We need to talk" I say but he just pulls me in and kisses my cheek he walked off as the guys called him over.

I sighed out and I was just praying today would end quickly, I didn't see Michael all day and it begun to scare me he usually calls when he isn't going to be in.

As the last bell went I didn't see Sarah anywhere and it made me a bit Nervous.

As I walked home I kept getting the feeling that I was being watched, I kept walking and as soon as I reached the house I ran inside and threw my bag down.

I walked upstairs and into my bedroom I tried to ring Michael but he didn't answer and I didn't have much luck with Sarah either.

I thought about texting James but decided not to, I walked over to my shoe box and opened it to reveal my old never worn shoes.

They were black heels with two straps in the ankle. I never wore them but I guess I'll have to for Mia's, I put them on and stumbled as I tried to find my balance.

I looked like a new born giraffe learning to walk. I took a couple of steps and then walked back and forth until they became more comfortable.

I soon took them off and got into my pyjamas, I got into bed and called Michael and there was still no answer.

I rang Sarah bur it wasn't her voice it was a rough man's voice..."hello Skyler" it said and the voice sounded so familiar.

"wh..who...are..are..you?" I say stumbling on my words there was no answer and he hung up I ran down the stairs and out the door I started running to Sarahs house.

I pounded on the door and it slowly opened to reveal Sarahs mother he hair was tied back and she furrowed her brows.

"Sky what are you doing here?" she asked and I put my hands on the back of my head.

"Have you see Sarah or Michael anywhere?" I asked and her eyes grew wide. "I thought she was with you" I took a deep breath and ran, I knew where I was headed could be dangerous but I didn't care.

I pounded out James door and he opened it, he looked me up and down before reaching to hug me.

I pushed him off, "have you seen Sarah and Michael?" I ask but he grabs my wrist. "yeah they went to the sushi place down the road" he said laughing.

I sigh in relief and he let's go of my wrists. "can we talk" I ask and his face filled with confusion, we started walking in an awkward silence.

"I em..I got really scared the other day you know" I said and I saw him gritting his teeth wich made me regret saying that.

I was quite short and week so it was easy for someone of his strength and hight to overpower me.

He stopped and walked closer to me. I gulped as he looked down at me.

He raised his hands to my shoulder and we started walking backwards. Until I literally hit a brick wall.

He kissed my forehead but I pushed him back."think we should break up" say pursing my lips together.

"what?!" he says through gritted teeth. He pushed me up against the wall and put his hands right beside my face so his face was lowered.

"no one breaks up with me" his eyes darkened and his jaw was clenched.

"well I guess it's time to change that tradition" I say and I tried to gulp but my throat felt like there was a ball in it and I felt myself stiffen.

"Ya know I never thought you'd be the one to escape..good thing you won't" he said pushing my shoulders back up against the wall.

I tried to fend him off but grabbed my wrist and started pulling me, I started kicking and screaming, but no one heard us.

My knees buckled so it would be harder to drag me. He picked my up and threw me over his shoulder so I kicked and flailed my arms but I failed to hurt him at all.

He opened the door to his car and tied the seat belt around my hands and I kept kicking him in the legs for him to let go.
