Allison's POV
Monday came around and I was on my way to form. I greeted familiar faces until I reached my form room.
I took my usual seat beside the window and stared out of it. Stasi wasn't coming in this morning because she had a dentist appointment so I was left to endure form alone.
"I have an announcement to make"
All heads turned towards our form tutor.
"We have a new transfer student who's coming in from Italy"
A chorus of sighs could be heard from the girls, probably imagining a dashingly good looking model of some sort.
"Come on in Alexandra" our form tutor shouted.
In walked the man who has been haunting my dreams ever since that night.
I know that what took place that night would go completely against social norms and now looking back on it I feel awkward. But at that moment in time I felt safe, no, I was safe. I was safe for that short passage of time and that's all that matters.
"Would you like to introduce yourself?" my form tutor practically left no space to disagree.
"Ciao, my name is Alexandra Navroski" he breathed it all in a breath, looking very bored until his eyes reached me.
Wait, he was looking at me! Holy mother of cheese balls!
What was I supposed to do?! I have nada experience with guys! Oh duck, why wasn't Stasi there.
My eyes rammed shut and prayed to a God I don't even know, for this to go as normal as my life possibly could.
But, of course my life is no where near normal so why was I surprised when the only seat left was next to me.
"Hey"
"Hi!" Karma I am so sorry for anything I have done wrong just don't pay me a visit now. Please! This guy is too hot to barf verbal diarrhoea on.
Silence.
"Erm I think we've met bef-"
"My names Alexandra Nav-"We both started our sentence at the same time. Could this possibly get anymore insanely awkward.
"Ladies first" Damn, that smile of his could make a girl faint.
Wait, what did I just say?
"Erm, look I just want to get this out of the way, I know what happened the other night was out of order and I'm sorry on my behalf. But I hope we can still be friends?"
I stuck my hand out.
"Sorry.." He had a fine husky voice got to give him that.
"Oh er, the names Allison"
"Sorry Allison, but I have no idea what you're talking about you must be mistaking me with someone else. But sure we can be friends if you're still up for it?"
I was gobsmacked. What a pig! How dare he come in and act like a pompous , pompous...pompous person!
The bell rang signalling the end of form.
"Miss Ross" my form tutor startled me as I tried to escape the shrinking room.
"I have assigned Mr Navroski here to you. You are to show him around and help him as seen fit. That is all."
Karma, you piece of dirt.
"Yes, sir"
Head down, I tried to scurry away.
"Miss Ross?"
"Yes Sir?"
"I believe you are forgetting to take your student" He raised his brows at me with a disapproving look on his face.
I spun around to face the spawn of the devil, waving at me.
A grimace etched on my face I muttered "Sorry sir, let's go Alexandra".
I walked with my head held high, I wasn't going to let this bother me. He's just like any other guy. A jerk. I'll drop him off to his lesson and I'll never have to talk to him again. He can find another seat as soon as Stasi comes back. Why does this have to happen at the start of the term?
I heard a rather loud cough from behind me, that disrupted my mental ranting.
"Uh, Ally"
"What?" I practically screeched. This guy was extremely infuriating.
"Do you know where we are going?" I raised my eyebrows at him. "I mean, I never told you what lesson I have." Damn, that smirk on his face.
He was right.
"Well what lesson do you have?" I sighed.
"History B229" he scratched the back of his head.
Maybe I was being a bit too harsh.
"Come on then." I offered him a small smile.
I spun around on the heel of my flats.
Holy marshmallows covered in sacred chocolate from the divine ocean what the fudge-balls did I do?! Have I banged my head on bloody cement?!
I was seeing doubles.
I spun my head around so fast I got whiplash.
"But you're right here" I looked bewilderedly at Alexandra.
"And you're there?" I scrunched up my eyebrows.
Alexandra fell into a fit of laughter. I guess my confusion must have been obvious enough to be amusing.
"Ally meet my twin, Jacob" Alexandra breathed out after he had managed to calm down.
I cannot do this right now.
"Excuse me I have to use the bathroom" we both had our heads down as I walked past him longing for this escape to be quicker.
I pushed against the tide of students and ran into the bathroom that had one stall empty. I only realised my fingers were shaking when I tried to lock the door, and so was my body.
The emotions of that night came rushing over me, as I remembered every detail a new wave of tears crashed against my cheeks. Then I remembered Jacob and how safe I felt in his arms. I felt calm.
I rummaged through my bag for my phone. She picked up after a dial.
"Is everything alright Darling?" was the first thing she had asked.
"I'm not feeling too well, would you come and take me home please?"
"Of course" she understood.
