Barking and mock howling stung my eardrums. A ripping migraine pounded in my skull, and I groaned.

Cracking my eyes open, I saw the time and bolted out of bed. 7:41 the number flashed.

'Shit shit shit shit-' I kept cursing as I halted in front of my closet, searching for some outfit for today. Cruize yawned and barked again, telling me he was tired. I rolled my eyes. Same here bud, I cooed in my mind. Finding a black shirt stripped in white, and some blue skinny jeans, I pulled them on with all the nessesary accesories.

'Your last day. LAST DAY OF WORK. Finally!' I thought to myself. Cruize gave a soft woof and fell back asleep. 'Lucky dog...' He seemed to grin, and I soon heard soft snores as I finished my makeup and grabbed my carkeys, nearly sprinting to the car without my phone. Sighing, I turn and run in to grab it, firmly shutting and locking the door.

I got into my beatup hand-me-down blue beetle. Then I smiled, I'd never have to worry about it again. After work, I was going with Gryffin and I'm going to pick out a new vehicule. I've been saving up for YEARS and today's the day. Then we're leaving the city, and going away. Far away. Both of us on a road trip as bestfriends. I'm so excited, I could pass out.

The day passed in a blur, and I only barely realised we were having a goodbye party for me. My back muscles kept twitching, but I ignored it.

Finally, my boss came up to my with the most fake smile on his face, and handed me a card. My eyes glazed over when I read the print. We'll miss you!! 'Ugh. No you won't.' my subconscience snickered.

Putting on a masked smile, I accepted the card; and ripped it up to shreds after he left. Glancing at the clock, I noticed it was 4:57, and I left to go see the boss again. I knocked on the door, and strutted in without permission. I mean, what more can he do? I'm done in less than 3 minutes. He glanced up, and looked back down at his papers, rustling them to find my last and final check. He picked it up, and his hand dropped back to the desk, scribbling onece again, and I swear I started to hallucinate from my excitement.  THE LETTER STARTED TO FUCKING LEVITATE. I snatched the envelope and backed away, not hearing the faint words coming from my ex-boss.

Sprinting out of the building, I stopped and panted as I stared. Gryffin was leaning against the hood of my old car, sunglasses glinting, and black t-shirt pulled tight against his chest and thick, muscly arms. He wore his favorite loose black jeans. His black hair was up in spikes. Black black black black black- my mind chanted. I snickered.

Looking back, I snickered at the women staring at him, eyes wide and jaw loose. I skipped over to him, and giggled when he drapped his arm over my shoulders as his normal hug. He opened the beetle door, and I climbed in. The last time I'll ever be doing that.

Smirking, he reeved the engine, and tore out of the parking lot. 'Seinora motherfuckes', I grinned to myself. Gryf caught my expression, and gave my a dazzling smile.

Finally.
