Chapter 1 :Sky

My teacher struggles on our new Eno Board, as the class talks away.

"How do you use this thing"she mumbles aggravated as she presses more buttons on the board.

What is with technology today? I think to myself as I roll my eyes. I look around seeing everyone talking and laughing. I feel so out of place, so invisible, so...lost. I sit there in my chair doodling on my binder. For a split second I feel a set of eyes staring at me. I look back and saw a boy named, Nick, gazing at me. I guess he saw that I saw him, so he looked down at his book shyly. I felt so awkward;thankfully I was saved by the bell. Before the bell even finished ringing, Nick just darted out of his seat and came bursting out of class. Okay then.

As I take my books from my locker I am glad to see my best friend, Sunshine. Yeah it is sorta ironic since my name is Sky.

"Hey girl, what's up" Sunshine greeted as she was jamming out to her playlist.

"Nothing much I say casually. As I pull out my purse, a little white envelope drifted on the ground. Sunshine picked it up and looked towards me.

"Here you go"she said. "What is it?"

"That's what's I want to know too." I said confused. I flipped the envelope on the other side and saw my name on it, written in shiny blue lettering.

Sunshine looked at me with a smirk. "Looks like you have a secret admirer"she teased.

"Oh shut up"I laughed. I gently slid my finger under the lip and slowly peeled it open. Inside I took out a little white card smaller then a stick of gum. My eyes wandered the paper groping each word.

It reads:

"Your eyes are a beautiful hue,

They are sparkling pools of blue,

You're kind, pure, and so true,

And I think I'm really into you.

I really want to be your guy,

And I want you to be my Sky"
