JEARRI
I remembered it. He said those words. He said my name after those three words. I've been rolling over in my bed for a couple of minutes, not wanting to get up because I know he's just outside my room. I heard faint noise obviously coming from the kitchen.
I didn't know how to face him. I could pretend I didn't hear him say those words. I could act like it didn't happen. After all, he never expected anything from me in return. I decided to take a bath first before facing him.
"Good morning," he greeted me, genuinely smiling. I greeted him back, while I lazily sat in the chair. Breakfast was prepared. He had been spoiling me lately.
"Thank you," I said as he placed the iced coffee on the table. "You prepared this?"
"Yes, although I'm not sure if it tastes the same as the one you always ordered. I just asked how it was made from the coffee shop we visited yesterday." He shyly scratched his nape and didn't meet my gaze. "Let's eat."
We ate in silence. I figured no one would bring up what he said last night which was fine with me because I didn't have plan on talking about it. Maybe he got confused last night. He worried so much that he mixed things up, thinking he was in love with me as Zanya and not Jearri.
"Where do you plan to bring me today?" I asked after we finished breakfast.
"Do you have a place in mind? How about riding a yacht? I'll make you lunch, dinner and another iced coffee."
"Sounds fun."
I wasn't even surprised when I saw the he owned one of the biggest yachts here in the dock. He held my hand to support me climb aboard. There were a few staff members to assist us, but he was the one helping me the most.
He looked pleased to see all the ingredients neatly arranged in the kitchen. I decided to settle myself on the sundeck. It's December so it wasn't very hot. It was cooler than the usual. I placed my laptop on my lap and rested my back against the lounger. It was a great place to write. I could see the beauty of both the land and the ocean, all at the same time.
I finished two chapters until lunchtime. That was the only time I saw Cray again. I knew he was busy preparing our food in the kitchen, so I let him be.
"Let's go inside so we can eat lunch. Here's your iced coffee." I immediately smiled as I took it from him. I must admit that he makes good iced coffee. It almost tastes the same as what I've ordered in coffee shops. He was really making an effort to serve me. I suddenly felt scared that I'd hurt him once I left, but it was okay. He insisted on it. I didn't ask anything from him.

LAXER
Masayang-masaya ako na napagsisilbihan ko si Zanya sa ganitong paraan. I've never done such thing before. Ni hindi ko nga iyon nagawa para sa kanya noon, nakakapanghinayang. Pero laking pasalamat ko na ngayon ay nagkaroon ako ng ganitong pagkakataon.
"Did you like the iced coffee?"
"Yes! You should start investing in your own coffee shop."
"Really?"
"I'm serious, Cray. You make good coffee. I like this one the most." Tinaas niya ang iced coffee na ngayon ay halos kalahati na kahit kabibigay ko pa lang sa kanya nito.
"Thanks. How was your novel? Are you almost done?"
"Not yet, but I'm think I'll finish it before I go back to the U.S. Thank you for spending time with me while I wrote. I know that you didn't have to do that—"
"I insisted. I love what I'm doing. I could apply as your assistant too. By the way, you don't have your assistant with you lately. Did you fire her?"
She laughed a little.
