Chapter 21: Christmas Eve Eve

Yasmin's POV:
~3 days later~
I'm in Manhattan with my mom & Cayenne shopping
We bought a lot of stuff
Even stuff for the twins..
I've been feeling a bit icky recently
I shake it off because it must be a cold
I haven't been in New York in 3 years
I'm not used to the cold...cold bitter air
In December of course
I get inside my parents house & I inhale & exhale repeatedly since I ran over here
I get to my room & I get in the shower & I walk out in long pjs
It's warm pjs
I rub Cayenne's belly
She giggles & look at me weird
"You look..different" she says
"Huh?"
"Like your glowing.."
"Idk what your talking about,." I say feeling weird again
My stomach feels funny
I run over to the toilet
I puke in it
"Your preggo" she blurts out
"I am not" I say after I washed my mouth out
"Did you have your period recently?"

My mom paces around as I did the test
"So..how long have you two been married again?" My mom asks concerned
"2 months.." I say looking at the floor
"Okay..nothing to worry about..is Nate good to you? I mean I met him but like is he good to you when no one's around?"
"Yes of course mom" I say
The timer goes off
I sigh as I grip my head
I have a huge headache now.
I look at the test..
"POSITIVE."
I gasp & Cayenne looks at it
"See I told you" she whispers & smiles at me
"But..I...what...?" I mumble
I can't believe this.

Nate walks in smiling
"Hey lil mama what's up?" He says wrapping his arms around me
I'm laying down since I don't feel well
"Mmm.." I mumble
"Babe..are you okay?" He says moving my hair away from my face
"Mmmph" I mumble again
If I talk I'll probably cry
Nate probably doesn't want a kiddo at the moment.
I mean I want this baby.
Would he want it?
"No.." He says as I'm about to get up
"Talk to me" he says & lifts me & I'm straddling him now
Great I can't move now.
"Nate..it's hard to..talk about" I say
My lips tremble
"Babe..tell me" he says & leans closer to me

I sigh
"Nate...I'm...Pregnant" I say & I wipe the tears that are rolling down my cheek
He stays silent
"Talk to me." I say
"Nate..I'm sorry your in shock..I mean I know we just got married 2 months ago..& I know you probably don't want this baby & I really really really want this baby" I ramble & he kisses me shutting me up
"Your okay?" I say as our lips part
"Of course I am..it's our baby" he says & rubs my belly
"You found out today?" He asks
I see a light in his eyes
Brighter than usual
"Yes." I say nodding my head
I blush as he smiles at me
"I cant believe it. I'm gonna be a daddy! Well..I am to you already"
He growls the last part in my ear
I giggle as he kisses my neck
"Nate.." I say smiling as he tugs at my shirt
"What?"
"We're at my parents house" I say slapping his chest
I lay my head on his chest
"I love you" he whispers
"You always do" I say & he pecks my lips
"Forever will" he says & kisses my forehead

I look at the clock & the fireplace my parents have lights up
My dad turns it on
My mom starts cooking yummy food
I sniff it & I sigh in relief
I see the Christmas tree up
I smile at my mom
"Mom do you remember when I was young & dad would put on my his shoulders & I put the star on the tree every year.."
"We started it when you were a baby" she says smiling
"I know mom" I say
I kiss her cheek
Nate smiles
"Do you mind if I lift her on mines & do the tradition right now?" He asks
"Yes Nathan" she says smiling at him
"Also Nathan" he turns around
"Call me mom.." She says & goes to check on the food
He smiles & pecks my lips
"Where's your brothers?" He asks
I told him all about them
"Jonah's married with a kid..he lives in Brooklyn" I say
"Ooh what does he do?"
"He's works at a car dealership" I say smiling
I'm proud of Jonah
He's so far ahead than the other guys at his job.
"& Jasper..hmm.."
"Mom!" I say
"Yes?" She says still in the kitchen
"Where's Jasper?" I ask
"He's in his room.."

I walk over to his room
I knock on it softly
"Who is it?"
"It's me Jasper"
I hear him jump off from wherever he was
He opens the door & hugs me
He lifts me up & spins me around
"Jasper!" I yell
"Yasmin!" He yells back

"I missed you too" I say & I kiss his cheek
"Nate this is Jasper..Jasper..this is my husband Nate"
I say as they shake hands
He stares at Nate intensely
"Jasper you okay?" I say waving my hand in his face
"You got married?" He asks
"Yes." I say crossing my arms

He says smiling & rubbing my back
"You should be..I'll be watching your ass" I say laughing
"Also..Jasper..I think you should know that-"
"Dinner's ready!" My mom yells
I sigh & he kisses my head
We walk to the dinner table
We set the table up
My mom is the only one smiling
I wished Cayenne was here.
She's with her parents & with Jake.
~during dinner~
I'm eating & I'm basically devouring the food
I thrown up most of my food this past week so now that the feeling left
I'm super hungry
My mom happily feeds me more & more
My dad raises a eyebrow at me as I go for 2nd plate
After I swallowed the first one
"Wow Hun.." He says
"Are you okay pumpkin?" He adds
"Yes dad." I say wiping my mouth with a napkin
My mom stands up
"Everyone I can't stand us hiding a secret..us meaning..Me & Yasmin"
She says
"So...there is news.." She adds
"What kind of news?" My dad says
"Yes mom what kind of news?" Jasper asks raising a eyebrow
"Good." She says
"Good news actually" I say standing up
"Earlier this morning I found out I was expecting" I add smiling
"Your pregnant?" My dad says
"Yes." I say now worried
He gets up
"Well..IM HAPPY" he says & smiles & hugs me & Nate
Jasper looks at me
"Your pregnant?" He mouths
I nod
He rubs my belly & lays his head on it
I deicide to record this all on snapchat
"Aww the uncle in his natural habitat" I say giggling
As I sent it
I realized every single one of Nate's fans is on my Snapchat account
Oh shit..what have I done?
~11pm~
My mom plays Christmas music as she puts finishing decorations on the house decor
Even though they've been putting Christmas decor everywhere since November.
She already finished now
She smiles at me
"How about we make cookies like we always used to & then we light up the good ol' Christmas tree" she says
"I'd like that" I say smiling & putting on a apron over my pjs
I grab the cookie batter & I sprinkle flour down on the table & I roll out the dough
I grab cookie cutters
My mom helps with the cookie cutters
We shove the cookies in the oven
We wait for the cookies to get GOLD.
"Come & kiss me baby..we don't need no mistletoe"
Nate smirks as he's underneath the mistletoe
I walk over & I peck his lips
He pouts
"I want a kiss" he says
"A real one" he adds leaning in & we kiss passionately
I smile as my mom stays staring & she giggles
"Be careful that's how you ended up pregnant" she says smirking
I cringe
"Ew mom!" I say laughing
"Don't ew me it's true" she says & Nate laughs walking away but then I see him blushing
~11:59pm~
I sigh as the freshly baked cookies scent fills my senses
The mix of that & the fragrance of Gingerbread & Peppermint
Since my mom sprays holiday perfumes during the holidays
I look over & I see the clock says
12:00am
My mom sings
"Oh holy night..the stars are brightly shining.."
The part my mom makes me sing comes & i sing it hoping it sounds good
"That is the night...that our savior was birthed"
I sing with my eyes closed

"Oh hear...the Angels voices..oh night..devine...oh night...when Christ was born"
I sing & Nate wraps his arms around me
"Oh night devineeeee" I sing & I hit a high note singing
He looks at me smiling
"Our savior was bornnnn"
My mom sings

We crowd around the tree & Nate waits for me
I jump on his back
He puts me on his shoulders
He slowly walks close to the tree
I lean toward & I slowly place the star on it
My dad flips a switch & the tree lights up
The bright lights shining
The good ol' family choo choo train moves around as the music plays
Nate smiles & places Santa hats on our heads
"Merry Christmas Eve babygirl" he says
"Merry Christmas Eve baby" I say & we kiss
"We don't need no fireplace boy I'll keep you nice & warm.."
~1am~
I took another shower
I climb into bed with comfy warm pjs & Nate rubs my belly
"I love you baby & I love you little one" he says & kisses my belly
"We love you too" I say & peck his lips giggling
"Are you down for some of these milk & cookies?"
As Nate climbs in & I notice he's eating something
I peep over to see a chocolate chip cookie
That he's eating.
The cookies me & my mom made..
Today.
I smirk as he looks at me with two cookies in his hand
He shrugs
"Want one?"
I snatch it out of his hand & I bite into one
"Don't be a grinch about it" he says laughing
I ate the cookie in one sitting haha
"Are you down for loving you? Be my drummer boy..I'm the only drum that your gonna play.."
I shut the lights & the mini fireplace in my room lights up
I close my bedroom curtains.
I lay my head on his chest
I kiss his cheek while messing with his hair
"Tis the season for some love giving..so I think you should give your love to me..baby let me know"
He smirks & pecks my lips which gets heated but I stop him again
"Nate.." I whisper
"How many times do I have to tell you?" I add
"I'm sorry" he whines
I shake my head
"Horndog"
"You love it"
"Damn right" I say
"Unfortunately.." I mumble
"I heard that missy" he says & tickles me
I giggle
"Beso?" I say
"Sì" he says & kisses me
