Yasmin's POV:
~a month later~
~7am~
I wake up to see Nate asleep next to me
The best feeling ever.
We move in our new house soon..
Cayenne's been acting funny this past week lately..
I walk downstairs after washing up
I'm in comfy warm pjs & fuzzy slippers
As its November & it's more colder than ever.
I put on a jacket
My morning routine usually is wake up,wash up,fix up the room,eat & relax
But..I'm heading out to Starbucks with Cayenne
Cayenne walks downstairs in her pjs & jacket on
"What is it like 30' out there" she whines putting on warm stuff
It's cold even though we live in LA
I giggle
I'll be visiting my family back in New York for Christmas
Nate wants to move over there...
I loved NY
But I moved to LA
For UCLA
Which I graduated a year ago
I mean it's not like I haven't been missing NY
I missed it a lot.
I regret leaving.
I met Cayenne in New York originally.
But we were transferred to the same college here in LA.
Jake's a LA boy
Born & Raised
I wanna go back but I'm sure Cayenne likes LA
& probably won't leave..
So we'll be thousands of miles apart
Ugh just thinking of it makes me sad.
Anyway Cayenne going to New York also for Christmas
Her mom lives there also
It's ironic because My mom & her mom are best friends also!
Haha funny right? .
~after Starbucks~
~10am~
We get back inside where it's warm & cozy
I grab my vanilla frappuccino
I put it down on my table in the livingroom
Cayenne gasps
"Yazz..I haven't gotten my period"
"Okay?" I say raising a eyebrow
"In a month" she adds biting her lip
"Oh damn.." I say gripping my head
She's preggo isn't she?
"Please can we buy pregnancy tests?"
"Now?"
"Can you just drive to CVS" she whines
"Fine fine" I say
~after the trip to CVS~
Cayenne's POV:
~12pm~
I did the tests I'm waiting for the timer to go off
I nervously pace back & forth
Yazz rubs my back
"Bae it's gonna be okay"
"We've only been married for a month" I say almost yelling
I cover my mouth realizing the lazy boys are still sleeping
They sleep too long. I swear
"So? Hannah was only 3 months married when she had Sky"
She says smiling
"You would be happy right?" I ask
"Me,Jake & Nate all would be happy" she says
~5 minutes later~
*dingggggg*
The timer goes off
I jump to my feet & I run to the bathroom careful not to be too loud
I grab the test & look at it really closely
I almost drop it in excitement
My eyes water as I read the test
"Positive"
I run over to Yazz & hug her tight crying tears of joy
"What's wrong?" She says
I Show her the test
"OMG I'm gonna be aunt" she says & we jump around forgetting about Nate & Jake
Who are asleep
I hear footsteps & we sit on the bed like normal watching Netflix
"What's going on?" Nate says rubbing his eyes
"Babe everything's fine" Yazz says smiling at him
"Why were y'all screaming" Jake says trying to open his eyes
"There was a scary scene in a horror movie we saw" I say
Lies.
"Okay.."
"No Jake come back here" I say
I can't hold it anymore
"What's wrong?" He says sitting next to me
"Jake..do you remember our honeymoon night?" I say looking at the floor
He smirks
"Very much" he says & kisses my neck a little
I giggle
"Well..there was a big oops on your part" I say blushing
"Huh?" He says confused
I'm surrounded by idiots..
"I'm pregnant." I say smiling
"What?" He says
I show him the test & he gasps
"We're pregnant!"
"We're? I'm the one carrying it fool!" I say giggling
He smiles & rubs my belly
"Yes. But I'll be here with you & take care of this baby with you. I'll try to be the best father to this baby." He says
"I love you. Omg" he adds & kisses my belly
"Jake..so you want it?"
"Of course I want it. It's half me & half you!"
He says smiling
"Jake I love you!" I say
"I love you more" he says & kisses me
I look over to see Yazz & Nate looking uncomfortable
"You can leave now" I say
"Yay!" Yazz says dragging Nate out to her room & locking it shut
"Use protection" I yell
Jake giggles
~nighttime~
I took a shower & changed into long sleeve shirt & long pj bottoms
My hair tied up in a messy bun
I climb into bed & I close my eyes since I'm very tired
Jake wraps his arms around me & I fall asleep..in his arms..
Jake's POV:
I watch as she's asleep..it's a beautiful sight.
I slowly uncover her belly & lift up her shirt
I lean closer to her belly
"Hi little one..it's daddy. Me & mommy love you very much...be good to mommy please. I don't care if your a boy or a girl as long as your healthy I'll be happy...goodnight little one" I say & kiss her belly
I cover her belly again & I move her shirt back to how it was
I wrap my arms around her again
I kiss her forehead
"Goodnight cutie" I whisper & fall asleep...
"Ooh...loving...loving..what you do..."
