" I'm here" the text from you read. I grab my bag with my clothes and I'm out the door. I open the passenger door, sit down, put on my seat belt, and say " Hi mom!". I look at you and notice your eyes are red. But you seem pretty normal. Then we pull out of my driveway. We're heading to the movies. You, the kids, and me. "I'm hungry", the baby says. We pull into the drive-thru, order food, and then park." I have to pee." the baby says. She goes to the restroom. And as she is in there, you start to doze off. She comes back and you're still sleeping. We sit there for twenty minutes and try and wake you up. Nothing. " I'll be back I'm going to use the bathroom okay?" I tell the kids. " Stay in the car, don't go anywhere, don't let anyone in." I walk inside and call my parents. My dad answers:
" Hello?"
" Dad can you come pick us up, my mom is sleeping in the parking lot and won't wake up."
" What? I'll be there soon. Don't go anywhere."
" Okay, just hurry please.."
I tell you all this and I began to cry. I began to think of all the things that were ruined today. Our movie, our lunch, our family time.
I walk outside and notice you moved the car. It's on but you're sleeping again. I wait outside the car and see my dad pull up. He parks behind you. " Take your brother and sister into the truck. I'll be there in a second" He turns off the car and takes your keys. You start to wake up and look confused. You call me repeatedly. I don't answer. We get back to my house. My dad takes you keys to my Tia.
She looks confused. He tells her " You need to go get your sister" She says okay and gets up. She tells him she's taking me with her. Her and i get in the car and i begin to tell her what happened. As we pull up beside you my tia tells me to wait in the car. She's talking to you firmly, but also quietly. You start to yell. My tia comes and gets me so i can explain what happened. I tell you that you fell asleep. Then you start to go off. My tia refuses to give you the kids, she tells you that if you want them to take them from the police station. Once you start you yell again about how they took me from you, that you were doing a good job, I walk away. I'm sitting in the car crying because I'm angry and wait for my Tia. My Tia tries to give you the keys but in that instant you reach for them and knock them out of her hand onto the ground. She returns to the car, and proceeds to reverse out. You get your keys, get in the car and you block our exit. You get out of the car and start to tell us how the reason we don't have my brother is because he wasn't good enough. At that point, I'm furious, I tell you that you left me alone. I remind you of the promises you made me and how they meant nothing. At this point I was yelling at you. My Tia pulls out far enough to where we can get out that way. I deserved better than a cracked out little hoe bag.
