Bad boy rounding the corner
Good girl walking straight
Both distracted
Maybe it's fate
They both look up
But it's to late
He drops his glasses
She spills her drink
And who's to think
The don't have a link
Both have parents
Both have homes t
Both have pets
Normal things really
But it's what's be hind the door
Past the kitchen
In the room
The parents fight
And out to the yard
The pet starves
Freezes
Nobody notices
There stuck in the fight
Life just sucks
That's how it is
She stares at his pants
Soaked with her drink
He looks at the ground
Glasses cracked
They look at each other
Eyes worried and full of amusement
He looks at her with a smirk
She thinks he's just a jerk
They go there separate ways
But a bond was made
And it'll stay that way
