I walked over the "Girls' Room" to tell mom that I was off to the dance. I was surprised to be enveloped in a warm embrace.

"Caaaallleeeeebb!!"

Oh, I get it. Paige.

When she realized that I was, and I quote, "all dressed up", the hug became tighter, and all I can say is that I nearly suffocated in Pink Apple Cinnamon perfume.

No, I do not go through all of Paige's perfumes. Annie likes that scent and that leads to the whole house smelling of that perfume. I was reliving through the scent of my house. Okay??

I heard Annie and Hayley giggling from somewhere in the room. Paige finally let go of me. Whew!

I informed mom and headed off to room number 264, from where I was picking up my date. When I saw her, I was nearly blinded by all of the pink. Hot pink.

Sophia, my date, threw her arms around me, squealing. I cringed at the sudden physical contact from a person I barely knew.

Well, I'm sure that's what you'd do!

Sophia was dressed in a hot pink frilly dress with a sequined heart on the front.

You should realize by now that I despise anything too girly. Key word: TOO. I mean, pale pink is fine, and a little perfume wouldn't hurt either. But most girls over-dose.

Anyway, when we got there, we danced for ten minutes, which was when I was starting to get pretty tired of having Sophia draped over my arm like a stubborn cloak.

Well, I don't now whether cloaks are stubborn, but, you know...

I went to the restroom to be free.

That's when I saw her again.
