As Cold As Ice (ON HOLD)

Chapter 1

Brianna's POV

After the shower that I took, I made my way to my walk in closet. As I stood in the closet, I scanned all of my designer clothes to find something that'll suit the place that we're going to but the thing is I don't know where we are gonna go. Mike didn't tell me where we're going today and the fact that I have so many clothes made it hard for me to choose.

I ended up with something simple. A white gucci shirt and a high-rise shorts. As for my hair, I curled it and made a ponytail.

I'm actually kinda excited for today. I wish this day will turn out to be good. It's a special day for me because it's Mike and I's very first anniversary.

I heard a knock right after I put on a bit of makeup on my face.

"Come in..." I said calmly.

"Are you ready to go?" a familiar voice asked me.

"Yup, let me just get a pair of shoes" I smiled and quickly ran out of the closet with a pair of adidas shoes on.

I saw Mike sigh as he was sitting on my bed. I wonder what was he thinking about that it made him sigh?

The moment Mike saw me staring at him a smile spread across his face.

"So, shall we go then?" He said and I nodded as a response.

As we exited my room. A tall figure came into our sight.

"Princess, where are you two going?" It's Jake my older brother.

"We are gonna celebrate our first anniversary." I smiled and my eyes then went to Mike. Mike is my boyfriend. I really love him so much that I can't even imagine my life without him. I mean like we already shared a lot of memories together.

"Oh, is that so? Take care, okay?" He said.

"I will. Adios!" I funnily said and kissed his cheek.

"Take care of my princess Mike. If something's gonna happen, You'll be responsible for it" he said with an intimidating voice. I just smiled as I waiting to hear Mike's long response to Jake. Yet, he just silently nodded.

Which was kinda weird because he usually makes a long speech about protecting me if my brother says that line.

We then just exited the house and hopped in the car.  I took a glance at the window wondering where he'll take me to.

"Mike, where are we going today?" I decided to finally ask him.

"You decide Maddie" He said still focusing on the road.

"Should we go to the mall first?"

"Sure thing Maddie" he said.

"Thanks Mike!"

Five minutes passed and the car stopped. We're at the mall already?

"That was fast" I whispered.

"Of course. With my SSC Ultimate Aero , I'll be the fastest. Aren't you used to me driving?" he bragged.

"Let me drive then I'll show what's the real meaning of fast" I laughed.

"You know how to drive?"

"No" I quickly replied.

"Then how will you show me how fast you are if you don't know how to drive." This time he was the one laughing. Well, I guess he has a point. I wonder if I knew how to drive back then.

"What's with that face princess? Now, come on. Let's go to one of your favorite restaurants!" I just smiled softly to him.

He dragged me to a familiar restaurant. I was just standing outside yet I could already smell all the delicious food from here.
