Jack's POV
Mark and I climb up to the balcony. I've already been here so I'm not sure why he's bringing me here. He stops at the very top and sits on the ground.
"I've already been up here. Why are w-," Mark cuts me off my a shoosh.

"Just look up."
When I turn around and look up I see the millions of twinkling lights. Along with a captivating view of the moon. It's absolutely breath taking. To be honest I never really paid attention to the building. Which is probably how I didn't take much notice to the roofless arena. Sounds ridiculous, but when it comes to paying attention I'm just awful.
As I stare up at the lite up sky I sit beside Mark. Every little star shines brighter than the next. It's like the most beautiful photo to ever exist. While I stare up at the sky I don't even notice that Mark had placed his hand on mine. I look over at him and he his eyes wonder all over the dark shade of a sky. Sooner or later hus eyes land on mine and he gives a small smile.
"This is a beautiful spot."

"Isn't it? I thought that you might like it. You seem like someone who enjoys this stuff."

"I love it. It's my favorite thing to do."

"So tell me about yourself," Mark states.

"What? Like now," I ask a bit unprepared and he gives a nod.

"Just anything. It could be the most simple things."

"Okay well my favorite color is red. I enjoy music, movies, I'm from Ireland. Those are the basics," I shrug.

"I would have guessed you're just from America from how clearly you talk sometimes."

"Would you rather I talk the way I usually do so nobody can understand," I laugh.

"Sure why not? It must be hard to do that 24/7. Nobody will care and they'll get used to it."
I nod looking at our hands. Mark rubs his thumb and over my hand. The soothing touch makes get goosebumps up my back. I look up at his eyes and when mine meet his I feel a blush creep onto my cheeks. Which is the exact same thing that's happening to him.
"So I was thinking," he says a but nervous.

"Yeah," I ask calmly.

"Would you like to do this after every show. I'd like to get to know this cute guy," he smiles nudging me a bit with his shoulder.
A small blush creeps onto my cheeks and I look at my hands. I nod thinking of how could it actually be to do this? It's just hanging out and becoming friends.
"That could be arranged."

"Great," he smiles.
We then get up and hurry to the buses.
***
I wake up to Felix slapping my face extremely hard. Which makes a whine of pain come from my lips.
"Come on leprechaun got to get setup for the show."

"This early?"

"We've been getting up at this time for the past week don't don't complain," Katy tells me.

"Fuck off Katy."

"I will when you will."
I sigh rolling my eyes. She's so fucking sassy that it's hard to handle sometimes. When I get out of my bunk I quickly change into clothes in the tiny ass bathroom. Once I'm out we have to go get setup. I didn't have time to put on my hat or make sure that I didn't look like a homeless person. So homeless person look is what I'm basically going for today I guess.
As soon as I get to the stage Max flags me down to have me check his drums. He starts to play one of their songs and I nod signaling that they're alright. Max thanks me before I go help setup the lights with Felix. Which is me trying to look like I'm helping, but I'm just watching him. Along with having a nice chat with my Swedish friend.
"So why did you come back to the bus so late?"

"I had to take care of a few things before I could go back on the bus."

"Oh yeah like what," he scoffs.

"I had to makes sure everything was in place and turn off any lights we left on."

"So that took you an hour?"

"Yes," I lie.

"Don't lie to me Jack," he laughs.

"I'm not."

"I've known you for six years. You're definitely lying to me. So just tell me what you were doing. I won't tell anyone."

"Okay well then I was with Mark."
Felix stops and looks at me. He leans on the panel and stares at me with crossed arms. His straight face turns into a smirk soon enough.
"I knew he thought you were attractive."

"We were just hanging out as friends."

"By the way he looks at you. I can tell you that it wasn't a friendly thing. It was more of a I want to ask you out on a date thing."
When I go to defend my lies my walkie talkie goes off. I click the button to answer the stage director.
"Be down in a second," I sigh.
I then clip the radio onto my belt loop and go down the steps. Felix stays in his place waiting for directions with a smug grin. That little fucking shit I swear to god. He can see right through me and I hate it.
When I reach backstage I see the stage director. He motions for me to come over to him as he speaks to another crew member. As I walk closer he starts to finish his conversation. Once he's done he faces me pointing his boney finger in my face.
"I need you to go help Daryn with sound until lunch. Can you do that?"

"Yes."

"Alright good now hurry."
I run down to the soundboard where Daryn is at. He seems relieved when I get there. Daryn shows me controls and I help him out with stuff as the band practices.
Through the practice Mark keeps messing up his words. Which makes Daryn absolutely pissed off.
"Dammit Mark! What's the matter with you today?!"

"I'm just distracted is all," he yells back from the stage.

"Well get in the zone we have a concert in one hour!"
Mark then gives a thumbs up to him and they start from the top again.

Ya! Another chapter done. So excited about this one.
