DAY 6: Univocalic Poem

110 3 2

Univocalic poetry is a type of constrained writing that uses only a single vowel throughout the entire poem.

The Challenge:

- Write a univocalic poem.
- Write about a struggling writer.
- Additional constraints: For English, refrain from using the letter "E". For Filipino, refrain from using the letter "I". For TagLish, both constraints will apply.
- The title must also be univocalic, applying the selected vowel.
- Minimum of 20 words and maximum of 100 words.

Sly Spirits Stitching Scripts

Sly, sick spirits scribbling nightly

Thinking swiftly, singing implicitly

Writing with sting, flying in instinct

Trying in winning, winning in trying

Nifty, stylish, slick tricks within

Stitching scripts, filling it with 'things'

—Indistinct blinds; things inhibiting flight

Living, fighting, drifting in fright.

'Til this mind is ill, sick, dying

Sitting idly, drinking insights in living

It will still try stitching with sting

Writing with strings, scribbling with ink.

A/N: For me, this is honestly the best poetry piece I ever wrote. <3
