The Fallen Kingdom

Chapter 5

Jet looked at the Highlander and thought that they could land at Aurelius. He looked at the various species and smiled to himself. This could work.

"Alright let's get this show on the road," said Ce'lan. "We should leave at dawn, for the escape group needs rest."

"Ok, but no later," replied Jet. He left to the cabin already prepared for the day. The next morning, he awoke the crew, Ce'lan and Crystal. They left the space port as early as possible. 

"Jet a word," whispered Ce'lan showing the hint of concern in his voice. "The captain has informed me that we are being followed. We should make a stop about a quarter of the way to Aurelieus"

"Are you sure of this?"

"Positive, I have also seen the group with my own eyes. Have you any idea of who they might be?"

"I have a hunch that it might be some spies working for the camp, and my father. Although, there is the possibility of enemies knowing I have the file. Although I highly doubt they would know."

"I agree. Although my choice stands. We must stop at A planet close enough to a quarter of the way to Aurelieus."

"I know just the place. But it involves doing several crazy things. You up for it? If not, I will agree with your decision," He said this last part with a half-smile.

"You and I both know that I am with you the whole way. And we also know that no matter what I chose, I'd probably end up dead. But guess what? I'm not goin' down that easy my friend."

"Alright, we will head to Endeavor. Tell the captain to set hyper-drive coordinates there."

"Endeavor? But why would we head to a Solaris Moon?"

"My friend, you know exactly why," were the last of Jet's words before exiting the hallway into his cabin."

"Da'et, are you ready for your first mission?"

"Of course, your highness. What am I to do?"

"You must take your assassination team, and head to Aurelieus where you can destroy the human generals and also the Joltel ambassador. Then report to me."

"I will do as I must. Does anyone else know of our plan?" 

"Of course. Just because we are Necros, does not mean we lie. We use the truth for power. Secret are useless unless usen wisely."

"Of course master." With that said, De'at left the Necros king's room and hurried to his ship.
