Jet felt a slight pinch of fear. It was a very small amount, and it was only because he felt as if he was being watched. Slowly, so as not to alarm the attacker, he turned around to grab a bottle of water that sat in his bag. As he did so, he looked around, surveying the area. He saw something move in one of the bushes off to his left.
He saw a shadowy form that was mostly hidden in the brush, but not well enough to fool Jet's eyes. He acted as if he hadn't seen it and continued "searching." He shrugged and began unpacking his equipment. He set up a small fire, large enough to keep away any animals, but small enough so that it wouldn't be noticed by any enemy camps. As he did this he thought, I can't fall asleep with that thing watching me. If its an animal, it could rip me to shreds or steal my food. If it's human or Joltel, they could either kill me or take me somewhere.
With that said, Jet began poking the fire with a branch, and then began excersising and thinking. These two activities would be enough to keep him awake. He thought about everything really. He thought about how he'd help win the war. He thought about his father. And for some reason, he began to think heavily about Crystal.
I can't get her out of my head, even if I really want to. He had feelings for her, even he did not want to accept it. Yet, the more he thought on the topic, he really wanted her to like him the same way. They had been friends since they were about twelve. He always acted as a type of brother for her, yet he never truly thought about her that way.
I really want to be with her. I need to find her.
He was now certain that she was missing or in danger due to the fact that she should have returned by now. He would keep looking for her until he found her. He wouldn't leave this moon without her. He just hoped she was safe.

De'at had been watching his target with the eyes of a hawk. He saw every movement made by the human scum. He realized after half an hour that the young man wouldn't fall asleep. It was mainly for two reasons he knew this. The first began that they locked eyes for about two seconds, yet those two seconds told him all he needed. The second was that the young man was doing anything he could to stay awake.
De'at was thinking about whether or not to stay. He decided against it, for he still had his best asset, the girl. She would tell him all he needed to know. When the human turned around to ge into a sit-up position, De'at made his move. With the agility of a snake and silence of the night, he left the campsite and made his way back to his ship. He was able to sprint for over a half hour, and jogged the other two hours to his ship. Upon arrival, he had a smile on his face. He would get his answers and help destroy the humans.
Walking in, two of his guards looked at him and saluted. "Good evening, sir," they both stated.
"Good evening gentlemen. Where is our lovely prisoner?"
"She is in the holding cells. Where else would she be?" He asked this while smiling. De'at loved it when his men held the same ideas as his.
"I'm on my way over there. Would you two like to watch?" the two nodded. "Yes? Alright call two more men to take your positions."
With that said, he began walking to the holding cells. Luckily, the girl wouldn't be able to see when he arrived, the surprise and fear made it all the better to experience. The cells were more like a room equipped with a rock-solid bed, faucet, and toilet. The front wall was made of a material that was similar to a one-way mirror, but it was nearly impenetrable.
The fear and protest were clearly shown on her face when he opened the door. He walked in smiling. "Good evening, um what was your name again?"
"Name's Crystal," she said with pure disgust on her face.
