Author's POV
It has been approximately 2 days since Xiumin left the forest to go home. He stayed at Nam Yoon and Jae Yoon's house for 3 days.
It was 2:12 pm when Nam Yoon felt a somewhat feeling of twitch. She used her eye vision to zoom in to that certain place where she sensed pain, worry and anxiousness.
Seeing the things that are happening farther from their barricaded forest, shocked her to the core.
"A-A fire!!" - Without even waiting for her sister, she immediately teleported to the said forest and dried down the fire with her water. As soon as the fire died out, burnt trees welcomed her, which resulted in her, being hurt by what she sees.
Touching a single tree, bright light radiated from her palm and engulfed the whole burnt area.
Someone's POV
Shit! I'm dead! I'm really dead! If Suho hyung finds out, I'm screwed! I need to put down the fire! - I thought as I accidentally threw a fireball towards a tree when I practiced using my fire.
Running from the backyard, when I reached the right side of the house, I didn't exactly expect what I saw. The fire was gone. I mean, literally.
Did Suho hyung find out? Where is he? - I asked myself as I searched the area for him, but no Suho hyung to be found. If he's not here, then how did the fire disappear? - My question came to an abrupt stop as I see a figure not too far from where I'm standing.
"A girl?" - I whispered to myself.
How can someone come here, alone? Let alone, a girl. This place is very secluded to humans, there's even an illusion surrounding this area with the help of Kyungsoo's power, so there shouldn't be anyone here. - Looking closely at her, I finally realized that one fact.
The fact why she passed through the illusion. Maybe because she's one of us.
I stared at her closely as she finally opened her closed eyes and let go of the tree. It didn't have any remaining fire burn.
Seeing a smile on her face, it seemed to bring peace to my whole body as I close my eyes. The whole 'I'm worried about Suho hyung's wrath' thing dispersed from my thought.
Once I opened my eyes, I saw her looking at me, which of course, shocked me, but what shocked me most was the immense beauty she has. Her gentle face displayed the same expression as mine; shock.
"Miss--" - Trying to talk to her, I was then caught off guard when she suddenly ran.
I tried to catch up, but when I reached where she was moments ago, she vanished. Man, that girl's fast. It made me wonder what her power was.
If she entered this forest, she must have been like us.
Seeing as the trees were perfectly fine, I guess she has healing power.
Will we meet again? - I ask myself as I placed my right palm where she touched the tree a while back.
Nam Yoon's POV
Panting, I placed my palms on the wall of my room. Geez, I guess I ran for a while before teleporting. - By instinct, I just ran away from a human.
Although Xiumin proved me that some humans are not what we think of them, I still can't stop myself to think that they may hurt me if I let them have physical contact with me.
Heaving a deep sigh, I dropped on the floor, trying to keep my heart rate calm. I guess I ran from him quickly without even listening to what he was about to say. I think I may have been rude. I hope I won't act too rashly next time to just turn my head and leave. I might have hurt him mentally.
"Nam Yoon? Where were you? I was looking for you, everywhere." - Jae Yoon unnie tore me away from my thoughts as she asked me worriedly.
"Mianhae, there was just a slight inconvenience." - I started.
"Go on, I'm listening."
"Well, you see, I saw a fire from another forest."
"Oh, so that's why I felt uneasy."
I nod at her as I offer her to sit on my knee as I sat on my bed, Indian style.
"After I healed the trees, I encountered another human--"
"What?!! Did he hurt you?!" - She exclaimed as she examined my physical appearance.
"No, I am fine, but you see, as my eyes landed on his figure, I couldn't help but panic, so I rushed away from that place." - I explained.
"Did he look scary and mean?" - Unnie asked as she stared at me with seriousness.
"No, he looked gentle and caring. He doesn't even look like he could harm a bug intentionally." - I chuckled at my own words.
"Then why'd you ran away, it was your chance to have contact with another human."
"Yeah. But my instinct took the better of me. I panicked, I was scared, so I ran away. I'm sorry." - I apologetically look at her as she just smiled at me.
"Don't be, I know how you feel, I would've ran too, if I was in your situation. We've been too isolated from human race that we became afraid of what was there beyond the barrier. I don't blame you for the rash decision, though I do hope that one day, there could be a time where we could finally be at ease with humans around us." - Smiling very warmly, loving and caring at me.
"Yeah, me too." - I said as I gave her a sweet smile.

Later that day, Jae Yoon unnie and I just had our normal lifestyle.
As bed time came, I laid on my bed while looking at the stars. I can't wait for Xiumin to visit, he said he'd visit us in three days time, which meant tomorrow. And he promised us that we'd meet his brothers. I don't know how many of them are exactly there though. I am both excited and afraid.
Excited to finally meet other people and explore more about the world beyond the reach of this forest's barrier, at the same time afraid of what may come to us. I don't know what will fall upon us once we step out of the barrier and be finally exposed to humans' eyes. I am afraid, as well as my sister, though she does hide it well.
I am bothered, but this will be a new experience to both of us, and I'm willing to take this offer. I'm willing to do anything for us to be more experienced.
And I am willing... To protect mankind... The people my parents wanted to protect, in their belief that humans have something good in them, that they've just shadowed it with fear and anger.
