Today is bi pride day
So I being the brave person I am came out to a few people today and it was really scary but it felt amazing to say. Finally! My close friends know I'm bi and my parents know although it's like the elephant in the room. We don't talk about it. It's ok though, we don't need to talk about it. I'm just happy they accept me for who I am.
So to anyone out there not out and wanting to come out, just do it, when you are ready and with somebody you trust. Maybe try saying it out loud to yourself first. Say it in front of your mirror and look yourself in the eye when you do it. Because honestly self acceptance is the most important part. But I hope you can have at least five seconds of courage to say it, even if it is just to yourself.
Once you are out, its the best feeling in the world to be who you were meant to be. So love everything about yourself. Have faith in yourself that you can pull through any hardship you may face. Love yourself and be who you are and if you ever feel that nobody loves you, I hope you know that I love you. If you ever think nobody cares about your problems, I care. Some people will say "How can you care about me if you don't know who I am?" Well my response to that is simple. I care about humanity, I care about people. A very important influence in my life is my ability to make other people smile or laugh. I love that feeling I get when I can make other people happy. I'm not a people pleaser. I'm more like somebody who just wants everybody to be happy as often as they can be. Whoever the hell you are I accept you and all your flaws, quirks, and secrets. So be bold, be brave, be weird, be YOU! And celebrate your Bi Pride! For now I say goodnight people! 😘
