(Kalia's Pov)

"This is stupid," I groan as we were in the car heading back to the castle so Brad could finish his meeting with us but this time Roman and Clary came to make the final decision. Caleb was with us as he was looking out the window as he sat on the other side of Kyle.

When we arrived at the castle the guards did their usual thing but they didn't point the gun at Roman, they let him in with ease.

"When Kyle and I came up here they had their guns pointed at us like we were doing something wrong, I'm so sick of this New King."

"Honey calm down, why are you so irritated by it?" My mom asked and I left it at that when Kyle kissed my forehead.

When we pulled up I could sense the nervousness in and out of the castle. People were walking frantically in every which direction. Matt Graham greeted us at the door and told us to follow him, we walked past the four girls the last one, the youngest, looking terrified. The castle was renovated already, white marble floors, with black accents. Black and white photographs hung along the walls. The foyer was different, the steps were marble, matching the floor while the rails where black iron. Everything looked different from before. When we had gotten to the castle to attack a week ago they were ready for us and we suffered four losses.

When we entered the conference room Brad was already sitting with Angie by his side. She looked at me and I looked away from her.

"We obviously know why we are here." Brad said and Roman and Clary sat down as I walked around the room slowly, stoping at every window to look out.
I didn't pay attention to most of the meeting as I was looking at places where the camera couldn't see. I looked down and watched as the contractors worked on the bridge, it would give the castle a nice touch.

"Your the animals who decided to kill the Knights first." Brad yelled and I punched through the window causing it the shatter.

"Your New King ordered to kill my beta! Your the ones who started it.." I said shaking my hand and Kyle came to look at it but I told him I was fine.

"I have no control over the New King." I stopped walking and looked at him.

"I thought you are the strongest, have everyone wrapped around your finger," I said standing in front of him.

"We both know that's he's sick-" Angie said.

"Don't use that on me, I know better." I said walking up to Brad.

"We both know that your scared of loosing your power and your desperately trying to get everything done that you want done before your end date."

"Kalia." Roman warned and I stepped back of the platform away from him.

"Why should we do it? Give me a good reason." Roman said. Brad was sweating, he looked as if he where about to pass out in front of us.

"Tell him!" I yelled, my voice echoing through the room, and Brad fell onto the ground still.

"Guards!" Angie yelled. Daniel and four other guards were quick to come.

"Take them to the Living Room and get Justin Stirling to meet with them in the office." She said holding Brads head up as we walked through to the living room and Daniel stood by the kitchen door.

"What if we do it-" My mom said but I cut her off.

"Then we look weak and it will be a perfect advantage for the King to underestimate us and he will attack and because we signed the peace treaty we will just sink back to the bottom again. He'll look at New Orleans the bayou wolves are thriving. If we agree to this we are signing the death certificates of thousands of wolves."
