Chapter 34: Acceptance

(Kalia's Pov)

A month had passed In New Orleans and Cody had accepted that I was carrying his child. What we didn't realize was that I got linked to the New Orleans coven. Taylor had arrived days after I had told Cody and she was currently fingering out how to stop the witches. It sucked because I couldn't enjoy me pregnancy because I was being attacked by the witches out of the blue. They realized I was pregnant quickly after I made my first appearance to the compound and I'd been back almost everyday so Cody could keep and eyes on me.

Cody regained control of the compound and enforced the same laws Camilla did, but he was going back to California which meant he was dragging me along with him. I was forced to stay in the castle to protect the child. The witches made it impossible for Cody to go about his business while torturing me. Anything they did happened to me. The sliced their Palm, they sliced mine. They easily raised my body temperature that I had to go to the hospital once. Where I was question by my uncle on what the hell was exactly happening. Although he was a General Surgeon he seemed to talk after each of my baby appointments. So I told him everything except that I was having the Cody Simpson's baby. He threatened to call my father but I told him not to that I would be flying back to LA soon to live with the baby's daddy.

It had gotten worse and Taylor found out that I was linked to the new regnant, Sofia. So we where currently getting ready to do an un-linking spell.

"I didn't an element something that ties the baby to the element." Taylor says.

"Fluid."

"Water.." Cody says.

"Run her a bath." Taylor ordered

"This might hurt... A lot. Alli make sure we don't loose a heartbeat."

"Wait what?" Cody and I said in Union as he helped me into the bath. My clothes became soaked.

"What are we doing again?" Cody's asked.

"Breaking Your baby's link to the New Orleans Regnant. They won't be able to track her, or Kalia."

"And the bath is for?"

"We're you not listening?" I asked pulling off my blouse leaving me in my tank top.

"To keep her temperature down..un-linking spells have a tendency to raise temperatures."

"We have to do to now." She said.

It was the worse pain ever, but Cody gave me his hand and I squeezed it as our baby kicked and I yelled. Taylor chanted louder and my claws where drawing blood on Cody's hand. I felt a weight lift off and Taylor looked at me. I didn't care I was looking at Alli.

"Alli," I ask softly. " I can't hear it." She said I looked at Cody as I sat up, and he just stared down at my stomach before smiling.

"It's fine, I hear to now." I let out a sigh of relief and Cody helped me out of the tub. "I'll go get you clothes." Cody said and I nodded.

"You made my whole pack get up and leave New Orleans." I said stopping in the middle of the stairs breathless.

"They had a month." He said turning his head to the side, as the cut on his lip disappeared.

I told my parents... Everything. They where so angry. Peter was the one you yanked Cody out of his ace and beat the living hell out of him and Jaden and Roman had to pull him off.

"What's wrong?"

"Just breathless."

"Should I be concerned?" He asked walking back down to me and I shook my head.

"It's normal." I said as he took the rest of my bags from me. Servants where taking box after box up the stairs as Cody lead me to my room.

"Maybe I should stay on the bottom floor." I said. "Either that our your going to have to carry me down the steps each time I want food." He laughed as I reached the top.

"Consider it a deal."

"I'm going to get heavy.."

"Vampire strength." He said showing off by picking up the heavy mags on each of his hands two guards say I front of white double doors and pulled them open.the room was large, with tan furniture the and bed spreads.

"Your bathroom is here and I'm two doors down. There's an office that separates us, it's not big but if you want it could be the child's nursery.

"The child is a girl... She's not your next King but-"

"I think it's time to go shopping don't you think darling?"

He took my to several baby stores and bought me everything I second glanced. I picked up a stuffed wolf and loved over at Cody and he seemed mad over it but told me to get it anyway.

"I'm not going to get it if you don't want me too."

"Oh come on Kalia you know the only reason your parents let you live with me is because they think that our child will be a wolf. Everyone is just waiting for you to pop out a wolf." He said.

"So what if I did? You would still love her wouldn't you?" I asked and Cody stayed silent.

"Cody." I said harshly.

"I don't know, I'm supposed to produce a male heir, my mother is on my back since she learned it was going to be a girl. First thing she wants me to do after your not pregnant is to knock you up again until you give me a son."

"We aren't married."

"Exactly. If I don't marry you our child won't take over my dads castle.

"I have no intention on letting her anyway, she saying far form the throne room as possible."

"Just wait till she's a teenager, what fun years." He said and I rolled my eyes."Look, our child will be born in months.."

"In a world where we have made enemy's." I said, "I'm tired, I want to leave."
