I sat still and quiet as I heard Sean speak to unknown people in low voices. I waited, and then waited some more. Eventually Sean called me out.

"Bec?"

"Yes?" I asked, stepping out of the bedroom. My eye were immediately met by seven inquisitive stares.

"This is the rest of the team," Mr. Blackbourne said. "Talk to them, and then you and I need to have a chat." With those parting words I watched curiously as he and Sean walked away.

After meeting the team, Owen took me inside, and asked to speak to me in Sean's room. His back is turned to me, and he's strangely silent.

"Bec," He says abruptly.

I move towards him, my hands dropping to my side in a relaxed stance. "Yes, Owen?" I ask, looking him over inquisitively.

"I heard you and Sean kissed," He said. He put it all out there so abruptly and plainly it startled me for a moment. Most people were avoidant, careful, considerate in situations like these. I sort of liked it, though. The way he spoke to people took out all the awkwardness of having to speak to him and made it easier to simply talk.

"Yeah," I say casually, walking across the room and plopping myself back onto the bed. I was drained from the day I'd had, and from having to meet so many new people. I didn't really want to do the whole "you kissed my team member and I don't like it" talk right now. I honestly just wanted to fall back into bed and sleep.

"So?" He asked, hiking up an eyebrow, and following me to the bed. He stood over me and looked down at my face.

"So what? You want to hear all the juicy little dirty details or something?" I taunted, snickering at his expression. "Like when you go to your gentleman's club?"

His face was actually priceless as he shouted, "No!"

I couldn't contain the giggles that were spilling out at me, and he just glared with those stunning eyes of his. "I just wanted to inform you that if you insist on having a romantic relationship with anyone in this group, this situation won't work out," He said, his tone almost as snarky as mine can be.

I rolled my eyes. He didn't know yet that relationships just aren't the same for me. "I only did it because it as fun," I stated simply. His eyes widened in surprise and I shake my head at him. "Relationships aren't the same for me as they are for other people. Especially with a man," I say, trying my hardest to get him to a place where he understood. |

"Alright," He said, relenting finally. I don't think he quite got it still, though. Oh well. "Just don't do it again," His tone was commanding, and I gave him a pointed are-you-serious look. "Please," He added. That's better.

"Fine, whatever," I say with a sigh. If he didn't want me to kiss any of those damn boys, I wouldn't kiss any of those damn boys. It would certainly hurt my enjoyment not to, though. Oh well, I'll just have to figure out some other way to have fun. Maybe I can join in some pranks with Gabe and Luke? I bet they'd let me. . .

"Okay," He said, and then stepped back away from me. "It's almost time for dinner. Is there anything in particular you like?"

"Hmmm," I muse, thinking of what I want to eat. "Chinese food?" I suggest.

"I'll tell Sean to pick it up. Is there anything else you need?"

"Yeah, can you pick me up some chocolate?" At his questioning look, I explain, "I have one of the biggest sweet tooth's known to mankind.

He nods in affirmation, and leaves, closing the door behind him. Thank god. I can't stand people who leave the door open as the depart, it annoys me to no end. Like just close the damn door for me.
