Chapter 7

Hiccup's P.O.V

I've had enough of Dagar.

He used to annoy me and get on my nerves.

But now he's gone too far, he's crossed the line.

"Hiccup? Are you alright?" Astrid asked. I looked at her.

"I'm fed up with Dagar, I don't know what to do though" I said.

"Hiccup, he's doing this to drive you crazy, if you just ignore him, he'll stop" she said.

"no he won't. Dagar, he never stops, what should I do?" I asked.

"well, you're chief, you do what you think is best" she said before walking off.

What would Dad do? He'd probably cut him in half. But, I'm not my father, I'm me, but what would I do?

"Hey gang, do any of you know where Dagar's keeping he dragons?" I asked. They shook their heads.

"I saw stormfly when ruff and I went to find y/n" tuff said.

"you did?" ruff said.

"yeah" he said.

"no you didn't, you're lying" she said. I rolled me eyes.

"I'm not" he said.

"then why didn't I see stormfly?" she asked.

"Because you're blind" tuff said.

"okay, tuff, before you start fighting with ruff, tell me, where did you see stormfly?" I asked.

"in a cage" he said.

"show me" I said.

He removed a rock from the wall and crawled through it. Ruff and I followed, along with the rest of the gang.

We crept along the stone walls. We wandered quietly, in case a guard sees us.

After creeping around and twins almost walking into walls or guards, we were in the basement where there were many cages with dragons.

I looked around the cells, trying to find toothless or firestrike even. I can't trust Dagar with night furies.

The gang found their dragons and I was still looking. I found firestrike, but not toothless. Oh shit

I heard whistling in the distance, it was a guard. The gang hid and I didn't have time because the guard saw me he reached for his axe.

I snapped out my sword and threw it at him. He collapsed on the ground. I walked over to him and took back my sword.

I grabbed the keys and tossed them to Astrid who unlocked stormfly, soon all the dragons were free, I took firestrike out of his cage.

We climbed onto the dragons and flew out of the hole in the wall.

We flew around the island, until I saw a black dragon. Toothless.

I saw a figure next to him, Dagar.

Firestrike shot right next to Dagar, he groaned and looked up. He saw us. Firestrike landed next to toothless, along with the other teens.

I jumped off Firestrike's back and whipped out my sword.

"well, hello hiccup, it's nice to see you again" he said smiling at me.

"are you ever gonna stop?" I asked.

"if you think I'll stop, guess again. I never stop until I get what I want" he said.

"well, sorry to break it to you, but you're not gonna get what you want" I said. He looked at me sternly.

"we'll see about that" he said before getting out his sword.

Y/n's P.O.V

I leaned against the bottom of a cliff and had my hands on my head. I rocked back and fourth.

Make them stop. The voices, they're still here.

I shook my head trying to clear my brain.

Kill

The gang are gonna backstab you, kill them before its too late.

Stop it, go away!

Kill Dagar, he started all of this

He's the reason why your family is dead, not the dragons, it was him

"agh, make it stop" I groaned holding onto my head. I wrapped my arms around my knees and rocked, looking around at my surroundings.

Where am I?

I don't remember coming here?

How did I get here?

I stood up, my legs shook, I almost collapsed.

I slowly walked along the uneven path.

My vision was blury, everything was spinning.

I fell over.

I groaned and picked myself up again.

My vision was less blurry and the spinning wasn't as fast, but I still couldn't see properly.

I heard shouting. Lots of shouting.

Its your friends, Dagar's killing them, look what you made him do

Its your fault

I held my head again and tried to focus on what's going on.

The dragon riders are killing him, do you really want that to happen?

He can help you, go on, help him,

Are you gonna kill them or not?

I walked closer to the shouting, my vision stopped spinning, but it was still blurry.

I'm in a forest?

Why am I in a forest?

I saw a black figure, or more like, dragon. The gang must be here.

Go on, help them, they're your friends aren't they?

How? I can barely see and I'm weak.

Kill them, they're your age and you are stronger, it'll be easy

How can I make them stop?

I heard the shouts again. But louder and closer.

I felt uncomfortable, distressed. I heard shouting and voices racing around my head.

I can't get away, I can't stop it.

I backed away from the shouting. I sat against a tree.

What is going on?

I wrapped my arms around my knees and held my head down, trying to think. I rocked back and fourth, like I did earlier.

Kill them

Kill all of them

They're all gonna kill you

Get them before they get you

Do it for your family

Make them proud
