Lee was a real gentleman, from opening the door for me to the way he spoke. I don’t know why I haven’t noticed all of this before but he seemed like royalty.
We got out, and there was a huge limousine there and I all but chocked
“Is this your car?” at that he roared with laughter and I looked at him dazed
“Aneyo silly! That over there is our car” and he pointed to a Ssangyong Rexton W
“Well you did say you were rich” I tried to cover my shame
“I am but I don’t go around in Limos; people might think I’m a president or some superstar and ask for an autograph with me being handsome and all, you know”
I just smiled and didn’t say anything else as he opened the door for me still giggling
“So Mr. Rich what do you do?”
“Well nothing much really, My father owns a big company and he had expanded his work to different fields so now I am working as the head president of one of his associated companies here in Seoul; although I do some check-ups on the other subdivisions. I also run my won small business that its entirely separated from my father's companies."
“Wow sounds impressive and like a lot of work”
“Sometimes but it does have its benefits; such as traveling, riding nice cars and of course having free time to spend it with a gorgeous woman like you”
It sounded so cliché but I liked it, and it made me blush.
What can I say? I was a sucker for romance and he definitely knew how to win a girl’s heart
“So how was your stay here so far? Been to any good places?”
“Well I kind of stayed at the hotel for the first couple of days, time difference does not suit me very well”
“Yeah I completely understand that, it does get confusing sometimes”
“However; yesterday was amazing! I went out exploring near areas and gosh I loved that square place of gwan …kwah umm I really can’t remember the name of the place”
“You mean Gwanghwanum square” he interjected
“Yes yes! “ exclaimed “My goodness but it was magical and I took a lot of pictures and even got myself all wet playing with some kids there”
“Sounds like you had fun and I’m happy that you did” he smiled a gentle genuine smile
“Me too” I smiled back at him
"So what's the small business that you run in the side? It seems intriguing" I asked
"Umm it's something unexpected but really close to my heart, but to keep you intrigued I will have to save the secret for our next date" he answered smiling and I smiled back and nodded feeling happy as this meant more time with him.
Our ride was smooth and the small talks -and even the silent moment- were never dull nor awkward, it was comforting and cozy
About twenty minutes later we reached a parking spot of a huge restaurant and he parked at the back
I took out the seat belt and suddenly my door was opened; it was him opening it for me, darn he was a real gentleman.
He gave me his hand and helped me down, as the car was a bit high and this dress had flying hazards written all over it
“Thank you”
“No thank you” -he whispered ever so close to my ear-”thank you for being so beautiful and giving me this time to spend with you”
