Turning tables

My nightmare became a beautiful dream as I swayed in the arms of Lee.

Gosh I have missed him so much; I didn't even realise how much.

We both thanked Mary for what she had done.

I kept on apologising for stealing her spotlight, but she wanted her friend to be happy more than anything.

'How long have you been talking to Mary and Jess?' I asked Lee as we danced

'Since the day at the hospital. I just needed a way to explain myself and apologise. You had shut me down from every corner, so I begged them' he said

'Have you been here all along? ' I asked and he nodded

'What about your work? Who's running the business now?'

' My father. He's not happy about it, but I needed to be here, not there' 
"isn't he mad at you?" I asked feeling guilty
" I don't care. Even if I had went back, I wouldn't have done my job properly. My heart and mind were here, with you" he said glanced down at me and I smiled.
A dark thought crossed my mind and before I could control myself I asked
"Does your father know about..you know" I didn't want to say his name, but we both knew whom I was talking about. His hands were tense for a bit and then he said
"Let's not talk about that tonight. I just got you back, and I just want to enjoy this feeling" I couldn't agree more.
I placed my head against his chest as we slow danced.
The night were perfect and magical.

" Hey there son" my dad's voice broke though the music, startling me

'Hello Sir, how have you been?' Lee answered my dad and looked at the both feeling lost, and they both laughed at expression

'How do you two know each other?' I questioned them

'Well Lee here' my father waved at him with a friendly smile' came every day to the hospital when you were there. And then to the house after you came out of the hospital.'

'why didn't you guys tell me?' I asked

'Because I didn't want to force you' Lee answered 'I just needed to know you were okay, and I did' he finished off

I didn't think I could love him any more than I have, but he was full of surprises.

'So, does this mean you're staying with us now?' my father asked Lee, and Lee looked at me

'Am I?' he said, asking me for permission. Okay now I was officially lost and confused. My dad was asking him to stay at our house?!

That didn't make sense at all. Was he in love with him too?

'umm I don't know' I said looking at the both of them, feeling left out of this new romance that was happening in front of

'let's give some time, she''' figure it out sooner or later' Lee told my dad, who nodded in agreement and started to leave

'See you son'

'See you sir'

'When did this bromance happened?' I asked teasingly

'what can I say, I am irresistible 'he chuckled

The wedding was great, but exhausting. I gave my car to my parents, as I drove home with Lee.

Apparently, he was staying at our house. My mom was so certain I would forgive, she had already cleared up the guest room for him.

We got back home later than night, feeling exhausted. Lee launched himself on out living room couch. He had never looked more perfect. Wherever he was, it was home for me. I just needed him to be there.

I showed him to his room, which was on the opposite side of mine, and right next to my parents.

I felt like teenager again, as we planned how we would sneak around and meet up in my room to catch up

This home stay was going to be lots of fun.
