Joe's POV;"Will you be my girlfriend?"
I said my heart pounding like it was going to break out from my rib cage straight into hers. Her eyes met mine, her hands still in mine, my hands turned to mush, sweating and trembling. I stared into her beautiful ocean eyes.
"Yes" She said turning her beautiful pink cheeks into a flowing river of deep red.
I smiled still looking into her watering eyes. I tucked a straggling piece of hair and placed it behind her ear.
"You're so perfect" I placed my hand on her cheek and she closed her eyes.
"You two are so cute together!" Hannah said.
We both just smiled me still looking at her perfect face and her still cuddled into my hand. Smiling.
"Lets go" I whispered into her ear as i moved my hand from her face into her hand grasping it loosely as she grasped it and we walked off.
"I want to show you something" Elena said to me turning to face me walking backward and pulling my hand out with hers meeting in the middle. It was so perfect.
"ELENA" I shouted after her as she ran off into the nearby woods, laughing and turning to see where i was.
I ran after her looking at the perfect surroundings. The trees blew in the wind sending a oaky smell throughout the woods. Small traces of snow and mud moulded together forming a gooey mess. Old leaves lay covered under a thick layer of snow under the towering trees.
"Elena" I said looking around at every angle.
"Where are you?!" I called again. Still silent except the occasional animal call or birds tweep.
I felt a small persons fame hug me from behind and nestle their head into my back.
"Right here" I felt the vibrations of her voice go down my back as i turn to face her.
"Is this what you wanted to show me?" i questioned her.
"No, up here" She said taking my hand and leading me up a muddy, snowy and very steep banking.
When we reached the top i was exhausted, obviously i need to start going to the gym and running again i thought to myself.
"Ta dah!" Elena said opening up her arms whilst i regained my breath.
I turned to face the way she was looking. My mouth dropped and my eyes opened wider.
"Wow..." I said. I looked out to a perfect landscape of the city. Tall old buildings towering over the dark river whilst dozens of lights from cars, street lanterns and nearby houses oozed out like a river of gold and fire. The sounds of the city hit me, cars horns and people laughter and soft ripple of the waters waves.
"This is my favourite place in the city" She said sitting down on the grass.
"My mother and me found this place when we moved here"
I sat down next to her, putting my hand over hers on the ground.
"Why did you move here?" I asked without even realising.
"Not to pry i mean" I stated soon after not to sound rude.
"My father died when i was very young, we moved to London four years ago, my mum landed a great job, i didn't want to move but sometimes we all have to make sacrifices"
I turned to face her.
"I remember the time we found this place. it was scorching sun beams that lead us to the woods in hope for shelter. We both wore flowery flowing dresses and ran through the woods after one another laughing letting our hair flow in the summers breeze. Thats when we found this place. Mum loved it"
"You must love her a lot"
"My mum died, two years ago, we thought it would be best to bury her with my dad back in South Africa i go every year, i just haven't been able to get over this christmas, money trouble, i took my mothers job after she died and I've had to get on with life, paying for the house and all its essentials isn't cheap" She said slightly laughing as a tear fell from her eye.
"Im so sorry" I said taking her into my arms never wanting to let go.
"Its ok" She said whipping her tears away.
