Nico's pov
The horn sounded twice.

There was an attack on camp.

Percy stood up, stretched and grabbed riptide.

"Stay here. Don't want you getting killed on your first day." He smiled at me. His eyes saddened.

I didn't listen to him.

I grabbed my Stygian iron sword, and started attacking the hoard of monsters.

The Demeter child looked at me in awe as she was barely keeping a battle between a hydra.

-Time skip-

As the battle came to a close, I walked to my cabin and left all the confused campers looking at my window.

It was now about half ten. And in all honesty, I was tired.

As I drifted into unconsciousness, I felt the nightmares draw in.

I was there. In Tartarus with Will. The guy who didn't remember me. We were both battling an empousa  . When one stabbed Will. I felt my eyes fill with tears as I stroked his hair for the last time. Do you know how they say when your dying you see your life flash before your eyes. It happened then, but with memories with Will.

I checked his pulse.

Dum dum.

Dum dum.

Dum...

Dum...

Nothing.

I screamed my lungs out. How did this happen.

But as Will looked up. He shouted "WAKE UP NICO."

I woke to a start as Will was calling my name. I was in the un claimed cabin which is cramped compared to the Hades.

"Haha. Sorry Nico. Didn't mean to scare you." Will said, faking a smile. "Just wondering if you'd come to the Infirmary. Wanna see what  medical condition your in. You might have a head problem."

It felt like he had just stabbed my heart to a stop.

Whenever I went with Will to the infirmary, apart for those three days, we used to joke around and have more fun, whereas now, he just sees me as an average patient. A patient who had just turned up here and might have some problems.

My eyes stung as I held back my tears. When would anyone believe me.

We walked to the infirmary in silence. A awkward silence that seemed to take years to get to the infirmary but, when they remembered me, we would be laughing and joking with the Will that doesn't just think I'm some patient.

"Here we are!" Will exclaimed, reveling his blinding teeth.

We just stood in silence for a bit until he took me into a bright white room.
