5- tree house

Preston POV~

I woke up and feeling a little bit hungry. I walked over to Sage is sleeping, I opened the door and find her still asleep. "I know your there" she said "I just don't want to get up" she said.

"well do you want any food?" I asked her and she smiled.

"Alright, close the door please, I'll meet you downstairs" She said I'm guessing she need to change. I closed the door and walked down stairs and went to find food in one of my chest.

Sage POV~

He closed the door, and I breathed out. "that was close" I said quietly I still have to get use to live in a village or with other people, at least in the tent I get to close it so I can change. I looked threw my bag and I made clothing it's not hard especially with my power. I changed into a green shirt but it didn't cover my belly button, then blue shorts and put on my boot's on.

I walk down stairs and I realized I don't know where my cloak is at. I got to the bottom of the stairs and Preston saw me and then looked away. "do you know where my cloak is at?" I asked him while looking around and found it on the couch. I walked over to it and put it around me.

"why do you where that cloak?" He asked me and handed me some porkchop.

"My mom made it for my dad, his old one was torn he always had one when he felt cold, when I wear this I feel like I sill have both of them, and it helps hides your weapons" I said and he agreed without saying a word I could tell in his face "what powers do you have?" I asked him curious.

"Follow me I go down to the basement because, well I'll show you" he said and I walked down stairs and continued to eat. I finished when we got down there. I saw all kinds of weapons on a rack designed for them and training dummies.

"this is the best setup for training and the dummies have burn marks" I said and he smiled i'm still admiring what kind of material the dummies are made of, I smelled a potion on it "There's a potion on the dummies, why?" I asked and looked at him

"you mind standing beside me, and watch" he asked and I walked to him and he held out his hand infront of him and a flame appeared on his hand and he fired it to the dummy the fire wore off eventually.

"fire, that's a powerful elemental mine's telekinesis" I said and held out my hand to the swords and got 3 of them and attacked the other dummy, then put the sword back in there place. "And also create images and create a small scene like the plays my village use to before it was destroyed" I created what happened to the village.

"That's cool, and what happened, happened to every major village or kingdom, we should go back to the surface and make your home" He said and I agreed. we walk up the stairs then outside and find some of the guys fighting and rob is playing with Cora.

Cora looked at me then ran to me I picked her up and hugged her still carrying her "Can you make those pictures again?" She asked me and I smiled.

"Tonight so everyone can see in the night sky you know what the pictures look better in, above the fire" I said and she nodded with a smile.

"I never knew, I thought they look fine" Preston said and looked at me then looked around so did I everyone had a smirk about them Jerome how ever looked a bit disappointed.

"I'll explain later, but i have to build a house" I said and everyone understood.

"Can I help, I am 10 I think I should learn how to build something" She said and I set her down and Jerome walked to me and Preston walked to the others.

"I could help if you want" he said offering I smiled and nodded and we walked to his house and he walked up and I waited for him with Cora. he came down with 3 Axes but he drops on and it was falling I used my telekinesis and stoped it from falling I used it to bring to toward me, the power I have had purple essence I think it's called around the shape of the axe. The power stoped projecting when I had it in my hands.

"That was close, and cool" Jerome said and got to the ground and handed an axe to Cora. we walked into the forest a little deeper. when we did I saw a broken abandoned tree house. I climbed up first and I got to the top it seemed to be just a get away and a place to stay for a bit. I found a teddy bear I picked it up.

Jerome POV~

I was silent for a reason it was sad and Sage held a stuffed animal. "This place is so sad" Cora said and Sage nodded and set the stuffed animal down and I got down first then Cora then Sage. we chopped down some trees and got some wood it was now near the end of the day. 

We got back to where we live. lachlan and Rob build the fire and rob of course made it look even better than just a pile of sticks and stones. we all sat in a circle around the fire pit preston used his power to lite it. Sage used her's to make a scene and told a story we all were intrigued with the story she made.

For the first time we didn't focus on what we had to do for the night she brought joy and fun back to life, she brought back what we lost years ago. I also see something in her every time I look in her eye's her bright purple eye's I feel comfortable and more alive.
