8- The Dragon's Game Part 2

Sage POV~

Ok so we have partners, but I feel so different without my powers I think it was the energy that the powers gave me I just feel a bit weaker. I found a chest and searched I found some iron boots and a gold helm along with a few food and a wooden sword, not the best weapon but could be worse. I heard footsteps crunching the leaves.

I stood up and swung my sword and found a girl with black hair and yellow eye's I attacked and saw her mark it's not the same as mine. I damaged her and she fell to the ground it wasn't a hard fight surprisingly. A white beam came down and like that she was gone. I look to see a tree, I like the high ground no one knows your up there. I jumped and grabbed the branch and hid in the many leaves that it had.

"Please let me find Mitch" I heard a female voice say it had a definite accent in her's. I jumped down and knocked her off her feet. I saw a mark on her arm it's the same as me.

"I'm sorry I didn't know we are partners" I said apologizing.

"No worries you have a good hiding spot and quite a move on you" she complemented.

"Come on most likely the people might follow the beam here to fight we have to move" I said and she nodded "I'm sage by the way" I said and we started running we spawned close to the dome's wall. we found a double chest she went to find what's inside.

"Here take this, it's a better weapon now you don't have to rely on so much as skill and how hard you strike, I'm Ashley" She said and she put on a chest plate she had a chainmail helm on. we ran into Preston and Rob. Preston came and hugged me.

"Oh thank notch your ok" He said relieved and released me from his grasp. "Have you seen the others" he asked and I shook my head.

"well, we stick together and find them" Ashley said and we agreed we walked and saw a beam go down we ran to it and found a guy and a girl I didn't get a good look because they turned to us and started to attack. I dodged the guy but the girl hit me and knocked me off my feet I saw the girl but I got out of the way in time.

Me and rob attacked the girl and Preston and Ashley got the guy. two beams came down I was a bit tired and hungry the sun was coming down. "We need to find some place to sleep, I doubt that everyone will be looking thru the night for people" I said and they nodded we looked for some place that is not out in the open. 

we eventually found a cave it was long and had many paths we gone on the one to the right Rob started a fire so we could stay warm. I still had my cloak on I was not cold well more hot. I looked around and Ashley looked cold. "would you like to borrow my cloak the cave is colder than the night" I said and she nodded I took off my cloak and gave it to her.

"Thank you Sage" She said with a smile we talked but we were quiet about it so nobody would hear us. Ashley soon fell asleep then Rob.

"it feels weird without having powers, it's not hard just weird" Preston said and I nodded and layed back and had my hands behind my head, and fell asleep.

Ashley POV~

I woke up and I still had Sage's cloak on, I looked around and I see Preston holding Sage it was cute. Rob woke up was about to say something then I put my finger up to my lips and we laughed. "wha" Sage said kinda tired she looked over to preston and he was definitely awake the sat up embarrassed. I took of the coak and gave it back to Sage.

"I think I heard something over here" I heard and we drun out our weapons and as soon as I saw them I dropped my weapon and hugged Mitch. "You're ok" He said relived

"Now you see that's cute" Sage said and I let go of Mitch to turn around to look at Sage. "But thank Notch your all ok" She said and got up "I think it's about time to leave this cave" She finished and we all nodded.

Preston POV~

We saw Jerome, Vik, Lachlan, and Mitch. "Ok so is Mitch and Ashley a thing or something?" she asked me while whispering, I keep an eye for chest.

"Yes they are Mitch tryed to find Ashley for years he would do anything to protect her" I said and she nodded we continued then I got knocked down.

then I saw a white beam come down I look at Sage and she had her hand out with a sword in the other. I accepted the help "You alright?" She asked and I nodded.

'There's only 8 players left, only 4 will be able to fight me' I heard and then another voice came thru 'don't she's just using you all' The voice said and it ended this voice was different but we want to get out of here.

"Well let best four win" Lachlan said and we nodded. this was wird fighting my friends but we only did this to get out of here. Ashley went down along with Rob well there goes my partner, then Lachlan and Vik gone as well.

"What's going on" Sage asked and a beam with different colors came down and we all were transported to the dragon.
